Sanctum mixes first person shooter with tower defense to create a totally unique experience.
This and the art style makes it look like a Monday Night Combat ripoff.
You better post about the RF:A pre-purchase.
Holy shit. Watched 30 seconds of trailer and it screamed MONDAY NIGHT COMBAT to me.
I played the demo a while ago. It was fun, but I was pretty bad at it. [editline]24th March 2011[/editline] However, as I remember it, there's only two different weapons... Co-op seems fun though, so I might buy it, if I can get a friend to do the same.
Is that this game? http://udk.com/showcase-sanctum
Is that this game? http://udk.com/showcase-sanctum
Yes, it is.
Thing is with a game this far along development probably started well before Monday Night Combat was announced, unlucky for them I guess
This has nothing to do with monday night combat (atleast not alot) This is like warcraft 3 Tower defense
I'll play it. Looks like co-op will be fun.
This and the art style makes it look like a Monday Night Combat ripoff.
They made the game before MNC was even known to exist in any way.
It will really depend on how much they added since their last Sanctum showcase. Anyone know?
My friend surprised me by getting a 2-pack and giving me the spare copy so I played a bit of the beta. It's damn fun but I can see it really needing a friend or two to keep you playing. I got to wave 12 on single player before the game glitched out and 1 enemy was remaining but nowhere to be seen so I couldn't progress. I'm hoping to play with my friend when he gets back online, will post results if I remember.
I like the pretty backgrounds
Looks like regular old tower defense except this time you choose one of the enemies to shoot personally.
I don't see how people can name this a MNC rip-off when it was out 2 years before MNC...
What do you mean it looks like MNC? It looks more like desktop defenders in a huge, FPS fashion.
