So ketosis seems to have beneficial effects and I have read a lot about it but nothing really has suggestions of what to eat to get good fats, etc etc etc. Any stories of sucess or stories of how it is pointless? Suggestions for diet regimes to do with it? what do you do for work out? how gets protein and stop mass lose?
i am highly skeptical of keto diets. below are excerpts from a website, examine.org, which cites dozens of peer-reviewed medical papers for its articles.
The results of this study showed that it was energy intake, not nutrient composition, that determined weight loss in response to low-energy diets over a short time period. [3]

Even with extreme changes in the fat-carbohydrate ratio (fat energy varied from 0% to 70% of total intake), there was no detectable evidence of significant variation in energy need as a function of percentage fat intake. [4]

Both trials showed better weight loss on the low-carbohydrate diet after 6 months, but no difference after 12 months. However remaining low carb, high fat and protein is beneficial whether you go keto or not.... K I will just keep doing what I have been doing. thanks.
