It's not up to individuals to enact justice on others, no matter how reprehensible the act may be. He has been punished by the authorities and what the two inmates did is at the very least punishing someone a second time for one same act, which is wrong no matter how bloodthirsty you are.
I mean shit, I'm against killing people as vengeance but even if you're fully in favor of disembowling rapists, it's not up to two inmates to make that god damn decision.
Obviously a disturbing individual, but he was already serving his sentence. He wasn't sentenced to death, and he certainly didn't deserve this.
Sure, he was a bad person. But holy shit, disemboweled?
If someone here thinks that he deserved that, fuck you.
