what is 2nd grade in the US? because over here year 2 would mean you're around 6 or 7 years old so wtf

What if this all actually happened and he really was telling the truth. I've been there before. My old bed used to squeak a lot and I'm the type of sleeper to roll around for 2 hours until I finally fall asleep so at night my room would sound like gepetto's workshop. Eventually one day my family was like "you seriously need to stop furiously masturbating at night and get a girlfriend" and I was like "oh my god my bed has a busted spring i told you guys this a year ago" and none of them believed me.

Disagree, it doesn't make her a "terrible" mother. She probably just thinks he shouldn't be doing that until he's a little older. Questionable judgement on her part? Sure, but "terrible" really isn't a good description of it.
Reminds me of the time I accidentally found my dad's porn folder when I was like 6. My mom walked into the room right as I opened it in curiosity, but she didn't yell at me. Just told me to close it and never open it again. Was really embarrassing years later when I figured out what that was.

I had the same experience, except it was on a camping trip. I sleep uneasy due to a lot of nightmares and shit. One night when we were sleeping in the RV I woke up from my mom screaming "STOP FUCKING MASTURBATING I AM TRYING TO SLEEP YOUR ARE TIPPING THE WHOLE VAN"

This kind of thing has got to be one of the harder things to deal with as a parent lol, you wouldn't want to downright shame them but you probably wouldn't want to really encourage them, either.
feel really bad for this kid. getting caught in the act is embarrassing enough but to have it happen where other people can hear you + having it uploaded on youtube just makes it worse.
