The Iran's forces has announced that a great number of•terrorists have been killed by its missile attack in•Deir Ezzor, Syria, AFP reports.
"A missile strike on militants' positions is a warning toterrorists. In case if attacks on Iran continue, the flame of our justifiable anger will burn terrorists to ashes," the Revolutionary Guards said in a statement.The operation came after terrorists launched simultaneous attacks on Iran’s parliament building in downtown Tehran and on the mausoleum of Imam Khomeini, south of the city, on June 7, in which 17 people, including security guards and civilians were killed and 40 others were injured.The IRGC further said “the punitive and retaliatory move has conveyed a clear message to Takfiri terrorists and their regional and trans-regional sponsors” that the repetition of any evil move against the Iranian nation would ignite the IRGC’s retaliatory move against criminal perpetrators.[/QUOTE]

It was only a "warning shot"? I would have expected a lot more to be honest; I can't see IS adhering to this 'warning' when Shi'itism is a priority enemy to wipe from the earth.

Response doesn't always have to be missiles. I'm sure Assad would love to have some Revolutionary Guard troops on Syrian soil to defeat IS before the FSA or Kurds do.
