Let's find new music - Week 29, Jeff Wayne's Musical Version of The War of the Worlds

Hello, my name is Dick Tracy and some of you might know me, but most of you probably don't. I started to do this thing where I listen to a new artist every week, and I thought I'd do this here on facepunch too.
The goal with this project of mine is to force myself to find music from every genre and age that is good, and to expose myself to new music that I probably wouldn't have listened to if I hadn't gone out of my way to actively search.
So, enough of that and more on the music!

The music itself is a mix of progressive rock and disco, which blends extremely well. At the time of the release of this album (1978), disco was peaking and I think that particular addition of musical style was added as to make it more available to the general population. This is purely speculations from my side however!
The cast of the album is mighty impressive, listed below.

The whole album is on spotify for those of you who are from europe, it can be found on youtube too. Here is the first song of the album, it is one of the best tracks on this album (which has no weak tracks) and prepares you for what is to come throughout the album.

It's sort of an album recommendation-thread, I was hoping there could be a discussion on this album this week, and next week I'm going to recommend a new album of some other musical genre and have a discussion on that album.
It's relevant because of the first paragraph I wrote.

Dude just use the album megathread.
My year 5 teacher would play this when we were working, and it scared my friend so much she got banned from playing it by the head.
YES. FUCK YES. This album is so good.
One of the first albums I listened to in full, it was awesome back then and it's still awesome now.
Also I saw the stage show in December 2010 and it was AMAZING
I have the live DVD of this. It's awesome.
Fantastic album
