Yay, Gibson working with Harmonix again.
They do know how to save the best for last :)
This is going to suck
This is going to suck
Ahem.
Why ?
This is going to suck
It doesn't seem that hard gameplay-wise, but this game seems like it was built more for the fun factor.
God I'm so excited for this game.
It doesn't seem that hard gameplay-wise, but this game seems like it was built more for the fun factor.
And there are a few songs that do seem to be a bit challenging. :Looks at Good Morning Good Morning in the drums: The only way you could hate this game is if you hate the Beatles.
They need to add Liverpool somewhere in this game, otherwise it's going to suck.

You think they would leave out the birthplace of the Beatles?
You think they would leave out the birthplace of the Beatles?
Yeah, I do.
I reckon Rock band/Guitar Hero are slipping into the trap of "Quick, get a new release out! NEED MONEIZ FASSST"
But the song selection looks bad ass, I might buy this for the Wii.
Eh, I won't buy this, it doesn't seem challenging enough for me to want to go out and blow $60 on a game.
Great, all they need now is a Micheal Jackson verison of this game. I wouldn't mind playing his songs.
Yeah, I do.

I'm just gonna buy the disk for the 360, because I already have the instruments.
Im not very good at guitar hero anyway and i can only beat half of the song on world tour on hard.
So this should be perfect for me.
Plus i love The Beatles anyway.

I me mine looks moderately tough when it gets to about 1 minute through the video.

Honestly, I think it's just Guitar Hero that's becoming the corporate sellout. Which is why I'm glad they chose Rock Band for this.
This is gonna be great :D

Rock Band=/= Guitar Hero.
Rock Band is made by the far more intelligent and just overall better rhythm game company: Harmonix
Any Guitar Hero that isn't Guitar Hero 1 or 2 is made by Harmonix's down-syndrome ex-co-partner: Red Octane.
Red Octane: blows and can't figure out how to make a good interface that is simplistic yet appealing, Cranks out Guitar Hero games that lack quality, often includes duplicate songs from older games, and try to make up for their shortcomings by including useless features in their games.
Harmonix: Has figured out the perfect game interface that is attractive and not bulky or distracting, Has great song collections in their games, Takes their time with a game they are creating and makes sure it is appealing and isn't rushed (the reason why there isn't a Rock Band 5), and has achieved a perfect balance that creates fun and immersion.
In conclusion: Do not EVER round Guitar Hero in with Rock Band, because in all actuality, they are COMPLETELY different games.
look too easy
the only thing guitar hero have that rock band don't is difficulty
This game is going to be awesome, and to all the "haters" (lol) out there who think HMX is going to ruin this, HMX partnered up with Abbey Road and who is left of the band to make this game. The remaining band members actually helped Harmonix place the stages and the cities.
------------------
And guitar hero overcharts by the way, Harmonix has a professional team of people who chart the music, not some music robot. Harmonix cares about their games, too, because HMX is still releasing DLC every week for Rock Band and Rock Band Unplugged (PSP rock band) and they'll even release the Abbey Road full album for DLC for RB: The Beatles when it comes out.

IOW: Rock Band has 2 games. Guitar Hero has... 7 or 8 now ? It just shows which of the two has more quality.

there's actually 3 or 4 rock band games
there's actually 3 or 4 rock band games
Rock Band 1
Rock Band 2 (Extreme improvement from 1)
Rock Band: Unplugged (For PSP)
Rock Band: The Beatles (Whole different game, different graphics, etc.)
Lego Rock Band: (Again, whole different game, appeals to kids)
Most Guitar Hero games are exactly the same.
And HMX is releasing the Rock Band Network, where any band can submit a song, and it gets charted (by pros) and reviewed (by people like you or me) and gets priced (fairly) and gets to the Music Store. There could be 5,000 songs on Rock Band by the end of 2010.
looks really good.
always wondered when they would incorperate the beatles into a rhythm game.
Also: no lag

actually, the person who uploads the song gets to chart it.
[editline]08:38PM[/editline]
and it goes to a separate music store called "ROCK BAND NETWORK" or something
