• CPU Upgrade based on my usage habits, suggestions?

I'm looking to upgrade my CPU, and I'm wondering if you all had any recommendations? I have dual 1080p monitors, work with large layer intense files in Photoshop/SAI (up to ~4000x4000px) at times, and almost always have over 25 chrome tabs open. Also I'm looking to get good gaming performance to match my MSI GTX 970. I'm assuming something that would be good for my usage is probably in the $300-$400 price range so I'm prepared to spend that but cost is definitely something to keep in mind. I'm not in a super big hurry to upgrade so I'm alright with waiting and saving up more to get something that would be worth the price jump, I don't want to be waiting forever. :v: My current CPU is a Intel i5 3330 3.0Ghz Also I know I'm going to have to upgrade my mobo aswell so recommend me an ATX mobo if you have any in mind. Thank you very much for your help.

I honestly wouldn't buy a new board. Ivy is still very much relevant.
