I looked at system specs when i ran the computer and found out it had a 1gb intel integrated graphics card :(
So i want to get a new graphics card that can run Garry's Mod well without lag

Not true in any way, its just fanboyism. Both companies do products and software for them that does exactly what it should do.
ATI has a few better performance for the price cards tho.
