Updated.
Price?
Not Including OS, Shipping nor handling. Within -/+ 5% of Budget $1025
Could get rid of the GTX 460 and swap it with a 5770 to lower the price.

that mobo won't crossfire well, x16/x4 but I don't think there's a suitable one within budget other than http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131405&cm_re=P7p55d_pro-_-13-131-405-_-Product but it's out of stock
[editline]6th December 2010[/editline]
not that OP will listen, he's made like 4 threads by now
[editline]6th December 2010[/editline]
he's made 12 threads, all in PCB, all asking for a build, each time a different budget
waste of our time
Gives me a higher post count haha.
I think all those 45 posts were made in PCB
$1000 is a pretty high budget by my standards, so go on and get a nice Lian Li case for £100 and a decent power supply too. The rest of the parts are straightforward: any reputable 1600/1333MHz RAM, i5 quad/i7, crossfire with 2 high end 5xxx series.

bad idea to go multi-GPU right off the bat, especially with all the new GPUs coming out lately
no reason to buy 58** if you're going crossfire anyway, since 68** scale better and cost the same

Seagate is unreliable? They are one of the most reliable brand out there, you heard wrong.
i was thinking to go with an i7 but does it matter if its dual or quad, does it make a difference?
Theres absolutely nothing wrong with Seagate.
[editline]7th December 2010[/editline]
I've had three Barracuda's and all are still running just fine.

However a Spinpoint F3 is better
However a Spinpoint F3 is better
I agree with that.
Its just the rumor that Seagate is unreliable is false.
I think all those 45 posts were made in PCB
I think 2,200 of my posts are in Hardware and Software.

All but 50 of mine are in H&S.
