That is not HD
Made using an old Logitech Quickcam E1000 that they probably don't even sell anymore, and a cheap as fuck gaming headset microphone. This isn't an advertisement. Just a little thing I decided to test my sea-legs on one day after a day of recording our rehearsal session, I had a load of fun doing it and it makes me wish that I had better recording hardware. Of course WMM tips are appreciated! Don't be too harsh on me, FP.
Don't use WMM. No seriously, don't. There are plenty of other movie editing suites out there. Sony Vegas, Adobe Premier to name two. If you seriously want to get into video editing, then go for one of these two as a starting point. They allow so much more diversity and freedom than WMM ever will. Plugins, modules etc all come built for Vegas/the Adobe software suites. It's much easier to use once you get the hang of it and you won't have to go jumping through the hoops WMM makes you do. Plus, WMM tends to absolutely destroy any quality the video might have had before editing, even if you choose to uncompress it. Just my thoughts - get a better video editing suite. And of course, better recording hardware. You did make the text addition work well though, which is something I never could, so thumbs up for that. The drummer is way too skinny, too. Like dangerously skinny.
There's a skeleton on the drums.
You can put it into whatever resolution you like, it's still a video scaled up. Also, Windows Movie Maker? You couldn't get experienced with a better video editor. But the video quality and the video editor do show you probably don't have the money to upgrade either. You should have waited until you had some money.
with the title i thought it was going to be a joke video
Thanks guys, I've written down the exemplar editing suites. I'll also let the drummer know :v: Will post his reaction. [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline]
with the title i thought it was going to be a joke video
Only the "Stunning HD" part.

Apparently, Vegas 9 Standard goes on eBay for as little as $25. http://www.warriorforum.com/internet-marketing-product-reviews-ratings/212073-does-anyone-know-good-alternatives-sony-vegas-pro-software.html That would be a worthwhile investment, imho.
Was that HD bit a joke? ..

This was disappointing until you started playing Sultans of Swing and I instantly liked the video.
Thanks, I'll definitely invest in this in the near future. [editline]22nd August 2012[/editline] My favourite song.
My personal preference to video editing is Adobe After Effects. It is VERY versatile. It's not exactly easy to use however, and you'll be better off if you come from a Flash or animation-orientated background due to the use of timeline and keyframes. But if you can get your hand around that, you can do some amazing things with it. But more expensive than Vegas 9, though..
Vegas is the best video editing software IMO
I prefer Premier.
Positives and negatives of Vegas/Premier?
I've always just used After Effects for clipping long videos. I know I shouldn't but I like it that way.
Why the dumb, MightyMax?
I didn't know WMM even could compile above 360p.
You guys sound great!
To the guy who came and commented "I'm WAY better than you. We've been together 5 months and my mom lets me practice in my garage" Fuck yourself. I was a noob at editing about a year ago. I found Vegas to be far easier to use than Premier.
