I don't know, maybe with good writers it will be okay, but seriously, I thought they were gonna stop at 3.
The concept is cool but it's kind of old, and the effects got really shitty, especially in the last movie when their attempted 3D was so cartoonish it was hard to take serious.
I'm hoping instead of a shitload of terrible CGI blood they'll go back to the original's effects, in my opinion the second was the most realistic looking.
Anyone actually excited for this film?

The first movie was good. But the last 4 have been the exact same plot line throughout the whole movie, only with a different disaster at the start. It's like a less complicated version of Saw.

One and two was good.
The third was meh and the 4th is a disgrace to the godfather of gore.

I watched the third one and it was absolute shit. I expect this one to be absolute shit as well.
Someone freaks out and scares people out, everyone else dies, that's remotely interesting. But then it's just death after death after death in incredibly stupidly violent ways.

I was appalled by the fourth movie. Apart from the 3D anaglyph the special effects used in it were almost amateur! And the movie itself could have been so much better with a little more suspense and death scenes that are more realistic.
Saying that, I might watch the fifth movie when it's released, but not at the cinema.
They are all shit.
Why would they ever even consider using that name? God damn.

Exactly my thoughts. Though it's stereoscopic 3D, not anaglyph. Anaglyph is the red/blue type of 3D.

I think they dug themselves into a hole with "The Final Destination". Calling it The Final Destination 2 would make things very confusing and so would Final Destination 5.
I for one don't really mind there not being a plot in gore movies. I'm watching it for the gore, not a story.
With a title like that, i have no doubt some porn movie making company will make a porn version.

The first 10 minutes of FD4 is a gore fest let alone the rest
