Jesus Fucking Christ: Michelle Bachmann Compares Obama to Germanwings pilot
34 replies, posted
Former Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) on Tuesday compared President Obama to the Germanwings co-pilot accused of intentionally crashing the plane he was flying last week.
“With his Iran deal, Barack Obama is for the 300 million souls of the United States what Andreas Lubitz was for the 150 souls on the German Wings flight — a deranged pilot flying his entire nation into the rocks,” Bachmann wrote on her official Facebook page. “After the fact, among the smoldering remains of American cities, the shocked survivors will ask, ‘Why did he do it?’ ” she continued. Bachmann’s remarks come amid concerns over Obama’s negotiations with Iran. The White House is hoping to reach a deal with Tehran to slow or stop its pursuit of nuclear arms in exchange for economic sanctions relief.
Holy Jesus fucking Christ. I just.....
I thought we were allowed to ignore this woman now that she doesn't have an office?
Bachmann saying INSANE things is as common as the sun setting
she is just water under the bridge
After the fact, among the smoldering remains of American cities, the shocked survivors will ask, ‘Why did he do it?’
Is she expecting Obama to start a nuclear war or something?
[editline]2nd April 2015[/editline]
is it even worth trying to understand what she means?
Is it considered libel/slander yet? Cause honestly at this point its just so fucking far past any sense of reason. Its a completely irrelevant comparison that is only serving to deceive people by comparing him to a criminal.
Jesus, this bitch is like Mad Max levels of insanity.
Is she expecting Obama to start a nuclear war or something?
No she somehow thinks the moment Iran gets a nuke, they will immediately be able to bypass all anti-missile defenses in the country, and they will use that to simultaneously nuke every American city. This is seriously her line of thinking, it's not a joke.
I live in her former congressional area, I've seen people unironically freak out about the prospect of a nuclear armed Iran destroying everything. The amount of fear mongering bullshit people eat here is absolutely ridiculous, so this really isn't surprising. Iran is made out to be this almost comically evil entity, who will immediately use any nuclear weapons to destroy both the U.S. and Israel if they ever get one. And Obama is for some reason purposefully allowing this to happen by not bending over backwards and doing everything the Israeli government wants done about Iran, because he's evil for some reason and just wants us all to die like the Germanwings copilot.
TLDR: She's fucking crazy.
At this rate I'm waiting for a right wing politician or former politician to state that Obama is literally actually hitler or the antichrist
not figuratively, not a comparison, literally actually the same hitler from the 20th century and the actual antichrist
Why is this lunatic still getting publicity?
Because the bonkers bullshit spewing out of her pie hole garners loads of ratings and page views. Which means ad revenue. Every dumb word that comes out of her mouth is a couple thousand in ad bucks to every news agency that publishes it.
It's like nothing he will ever do will be sufficient to appease them.
He could brush his teeth and these people would call him out for oppressing dental bacteria.
im almost sure hes been said to be the antichrist by a lot of the far right peeps
My mom thinks he will usher in the anti-Christ... Funny, because I know people who claimed the same about Bush, Clinton, Bush Sr, and Reagan... I may not be an Obama fan myself, but he's not some evil entity seeking to kill our American way of life... Michelle Bachmann on the other hand, I'm not too sure, lol.
Look at that, Sweden, exchanging male politicians with female politicians doesn't suddenly solve all the problems.
Look at that, Sweden, exchanging male politicians with female politicians doesn't suddenly solve all the problems.
Obama isn't representative of male politicians and Bachmann isn't representative of female politicians

YOu know, this may be the single most unrelated-to-the-news-story sexist post that I have seen on this forum.
Congratulations.
Why is this lunatic still getting publicity?
Lunatic?
she's one of the top stand up political comedians out there. Way funnier than Colbert.
oh wait, she isn't a comedian? I...

What I said indicates more that gender doesn't matter in politics. You can have bad apples on both sides.

By saying that there are bad politicians no matter the gender isn't sexist.

Do you know how many people in this thread/words in this article talk about anything even remotely related to that?

She should stick to porn.

[editline]2nd April 2015[/editline]
and/or believe iran is a person
Obama as the co-pilot, republicans/congress/house as the locked out pilot and america as the passengers.
That's some political comic content right there.

It's still okay to laugh.
Is she saying that if Joe Biden hadn't walked out of the oval office, obama might not have crashed an airbus a320 into a mountain?
Dude...it is insane that people who have actually been in Congress seem to think a nuclear exchange with Iran is actually a thing that could happen in the real world.
Then again, we've known Michelle Bachmann is certifiably batshit crazy for a long time.
Dear media, Stop giving retarded people attention unless its something fucking positive.
I hope the German media picks this up and she gets a massive ass subpena to German courts for something
This is just a very bad thing to say when there are still bodies on the ground

republicans/congress/house as the co-pilot, obama as the locked out pilot and america as the passengers that are in this case restraining obama thinking he's a terrorist
Meh, the usual retarded anti-obama stuff, move along...
I dunno why people still listen to lunatics like this and not just go "here we go again"

It's nearly impossible for a public figure to sue someone for Libel/Slander in the U.S. because you have to effectively prove that the person in question making false statements was fully aware that what they were saying was false at the time.
What the actual and metaphysical fuck...

What she said isn't really falsifiable. It's just an opinion.
It's a rich analogy though.
