I think my friend is a brony. - General

i was talking with one of my friends one day, about another friend, and he started telling me a pretty disturbing story about him. so, one day, a bunch of my friends were over this kids house, lets call him pat. pat is really really really into computers, memes, games, magic the gathering, collecting knives, whatever. hes a pretty good friend of all of us, and hes got one of the best houses to hang out at if we just want to really do nothing, considering hes got a huge TV, a giant computer, and he can fit many people into his room at once. anyhow, three of my friends are over pats house, lets call them Gordon, J.T., and Dan. Dan was apparently off in the corner stoned at the time, so hes irrelevant, but Gordon and J.T. decide that they want to play Xbox. the way pats room is set up is so you can clearly see whats on his huge computer monitor while you're sitting at the TV. pat hops onto his computer and says "yeah, you guys can play Xbox if you want, but im gonna read some 'stories' and if i cry, don't judge me". ok, this is coming from a completely heterosexual man, who's had girlfriends in the past, and has never done anything we would have expected him to be gay for before. reading these "stories" doesnt entail that he likes men of course, but his actions are extremely strange to us. anyhow, gordon peers over to the monitor to see what hes reading, and apparently, hes reading some fan-fiction romance novel, or something, and hes been reading them ALL THE TIME. whenever im out in public with him, he pulls out his Iphone, and just starts reading whatever. i never bothered to ask what he was reading, but i honestly assume that its this, considering hes really absorbed in them..so, as pat is reading this romance novel, he starts to sway around, and shake and say "oh man, its gettin really good!" "oh man oh man!". then, he starts to cry. gordon and J.T. meanwhile, are staring at him and each other, extremely confused, and really freaked out. after this, pat goes onto a My Little Pony Create you're own pony website for a while. gordon and J.T. are now really confused, because they never, we never, considered any one of our friends to be a brony. honestly, i hardly even know what a brony is, but irregardless, its strange for our friend pat..after hes done creating a pony for about an hour, he signs on to World of Warcraft, and where is name, or signature is or whatever, is a bunch of flowers and ponies. he then meets up with several other players in the game, each with flowers and ponies around their names, and starts to talk about MLP. One of my friends confronted him about a week after we all heard this story and he said "dont FUCKING judge me dude". i recently went over his house for a party, and i noticed that his monitors backround, was my little pony...he then proceeded to ramble on about "Rainbow Dash" or some shit. i dont know. im really starting to get worried about him. also, sorry if i offended anyone, im just really freaked out, and dont even know what to say at this point. i suppose liking MLP and reading romance novels and getting so into them that you cry doesnt entail that you like men, but its pretty abnormal behavior for my friend. Most of my friends are bronies, It's not that big a deal, I ain't one of course.
