God I mean, I knew it was bad but I didn't think it was THAT bad holy shit
I wonder what stuff was Freedman talking about...
What was up with those sounds starting from 1:26? Where are they coming from?
Oh man the Chinese bossman raging in the background of the interview.
thanks perfect world for setting the bar for esports
also apparently just now the staff forbid meepo cosplay girls to get out of their room with cosplay on

The Meepo Girls are asses. We won't be featuring Meepo in Dota 2 again. Meepo is a mistake/abomination.
But seriously, apparently they are telling all cosplayers to stop because they make big crowds form up, and Shanghai is weary of crowds since a bunch of people died in a stampede.
So this is what Valve pursues now.
oh communism

Valve supervises a lot of Dota 2 tournaments, just because this one is an (admittedly gargantuan) cock-up doesn't mean they all are.
Ingame mic glitches with the commentators.
It's a glitch related to killing Roshan. A game glitch.
this is valves first esports fuckup imo
sux its a gigantic fuckup

There have been other fuckups, you just don't see it from the spectator side. Most of the time players will come out about it after the fact. This is all in plain fucking view though now, and bad things are happening enough that players are bitching about it as it happens on Twitter.
how is it valves fault the guy they hired to present the show thought dick jokes would be acceptable in a business that prides its self on professionalism.
sure maybe valve could have did extra research but when you're looking to pay someone for a job you shouldn't have to do a fucking NSA level security check to make sure the idjit wouldn't make really shit jokes about dicks.
Yeah Valves fault.

Actually laughed at that.
On a different point (or maybe not really), I just tried watching the stream and it's just a still picture of the panel with some drunk swedes talking over it.

Never hire locally for shit like this in china, this is what happens every time.
This is the greatest thing to ever happen to Dota. I'm so happy. You have no clue how hilarious this all is.

Honestly James was the least of their worries now. If anything he would have atleast made the delays entertaining with his commentary.

Telling players they are banned 'indefinitely' isn't a fuckup to you?
And that's just one off the top of my head, there's definitely been more

This and the food poisoning event the other time on another tournament are the very worst.
I guess its normal that shit happens, but not this much shit...

Gabe handled it very unprofessionaly though, imo.
Yes 2GD kind of needs a leash, but still, calling him an ass on redit is kind of unprofessional, and that has blown up in his face.

Yeah Valves fault.
IIRC this guy has been hosting Valve events for years with pretty much the same vein of crudeness, and was told by Icefrog right before the event to "Be himself".
So yeah, pretty much Valves fault. None of this should have been out of left field, and they encouraged it on top of that.

IceFrog doesn't pay his fucking wages, the line had to be drawn somewhere. The guy is a fucking cringy idiot.
This is the most exciting Dota 2 tournament since TI3.

According to what I read here, they're related to an in-game bug.
