Johnny Depp, who was filming Pirates Of The Caribbean: On Stranger Tides at the nearby 18th century Old Naval College, decided to pay the girl a visit dressed in character as Captain Jack Sparrow. How cool is that? According to the Daily Mail, the school was only told about the visit ten minutes before it happened. Read Beatrice's letter to Captain Jack after the jump.
Source: http://www.slashfilm.com/2010/10/07/potd-johnny-depp-dressed-as-captain-jack-sparrow-visits-london-school/
Holy shit, that's the coolest thing ever.
Johnny Depp just became even more awesome.
Cool.
Johnny Depp is awesome.
Johnny Depp is a nice guy.
Johnny Depp is awesome.
He's in my top 3 favourite actors now! :buddy:
Vote Johnny Depp for most awesome actor ever.
He also visited a hospital in England for saving the life of his son. He had his costume flown over from America and spent a few hours entertaining the children. Really nice guy.
That was really nice of him! :)
Ok Depp, you're officially vindicated for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
He was in character the entire time too, got this in my US paper today. What an awesome guy. I don't see other actors arriving in character to entertain the next generation. I'm a bit jealous. Wow, that is awesome.
i wish he was gay AGREE rating not rainbow silly fp
He probably smells.
For a second there I thought it was Captain Jack Harkness. :frown: But this is even more awesome, I love it when famous people take time out of their obviously busy schedule to get personal with their fans like this.
I especially like how that's obviously a different piece of paper.
Wow, I would've never noticed that until you pointed it out. You're right, the skulls are completely different, for starters. I'm thinking someone tried to pull a fast one.
He's still awesome.

I'm thinking someone tried to pull a fast one.
Not to mention that the paper in the photo appears to be from a notebook, while the other seems to be plain printer paper that's been crumpled up. As well, Johnny Depp says in the video that she wrote to Johnny Depp rather than Captain Jack, while the letter in the picture is addressed to Jack. Fuck journalists, I'm an detective.
I had Sir Ian McKellen visit my school once, this awesome though. Lucky kids
$5 He didn't get the Rum.
So...how did the mutiny against the teachers go? The article never goes into it.

That's pretty cool.

Explains the blank paper and the magnification.
I had Sir Ian McKellen visit my school once, this awesome though. Lucky kids
would rather have Patrick Steward.
He's filming the fourth! YESSSSSS
