Since 6 am Thursday morning the FBI has been moving in several locations in full body armor. White Oak Drive in Porter was one location. Another at Petty Walker near Fire Tower where FBI agents followed a man into his driveway as he drove in and took him into custody. They then started a shoulder to shoulder search of the ground around with probes and shovels.
On Irwin Keel FBI agents moved in with over 20 vehicles including armored vehicles with SWAT teams. Two suspects were transported from that location in a Houston Police patrol car and an elderly woman and her dog were taken by Adult Protective Services.
http://montgomerycountypolicereporter.com/breaking-news-multiple-fbi-raids-in-montgomery-county/
So that's what the massive convoy of police that flew by my house was for. Also seen one, maybe two MRAP's yesterday which may be involved? It may be in connection with the murder of an Iranian-American activist a few years ago and this is a lot more resources than normal for apprehending a murder suspect so rumor is there is more going on here than we know. Posting this because I suspect it will be a national story by tonight. Guess we'll see.

The FBI was also conducting a massive child abduction drill yesterday south of here:

I wonder if they would plan a drill in order to ship in a bunch of resources for a much longer planned raid so not to raise any eyebrows?

If it's all in one unimportant town it's got to be something gang-related.

They found Carmen Sandeigo
Are there military bases or anything big, like airports/seaports? Could be some sort of terror plot that was foiled. Other than that, there's always the usual drugs/felony kidnapping/racketeering and perhaps the suspects were believed to be well armed and organized/in close contact so they had to hit them hard and fast.
According to the US Attorney’s Office in Houston :
Agents with the FBI and Social Security – Office of Inspector General, assisted by local law enforcement officers, were on the scene conducting a lawful action related to an ongoing federal fraud investigation.
