PC gamers are arrogant twits and like racists? Pffsh, sounds like something a console peasant would say. PC MASTER RACE!

Ignoring the territorial habits that all gamers have for their platform, there's a key difference between console gamers going to PC and PC Gamers going to console: A console gamer who wants to start PC Gaming, can often, give PC Gaming a try, because most households own a PC, even if it's not a particularly good one. Whereas, a PC Gamer who wants to start playing on console, very often, doesn't want to fork out hundreds of Dollars/Euros/Pounds for a console.

It's true that PC Gamers are not inclined to try out new consoles (though it doesn't just come down to arrogance), but he phrased it terribly.

I don't care what people play or why but consoles do severely limit video games, they're like a bad PC that the industry is forced to cater to because [I]it is [/I]an impressive market. There isn't enough of a performance gap to justify a significantly handicapped console version in most cases, so developers aim only as far as consoles can go and let PC gamers make up the difference with mods. Consoles don't interest me at all but I'm not going to go "yeah you cONSOLE GAMERS ARE ruining VIDEO GAMES!!!!!" and scream in rage when people talk about Playstations, that's stupid and I don't [I]think[/I] anyone does that with a straight face. Maybe somebody does, I don't know. I want to believe that if this neckbeard fuck that Pachter seems to be asserting exists everyone would openly mock him, but I don't think that type of person actually gets out and socializes in the first place.
