Hey guys, I got a slight issue here.
Lately my shoulders have been cracking whenever I rotate them; this generally causes a lot of pain. My parents think it's because I sit in front of the computer all day but I did research and it might be a rotator cuff issue.
Paging Dr. Facepunch, help a guy out.

I agree with your parents. Your probably hunching over too much thus making your shoulders accustomed to that position.
your rear deltoids are too weak. Causes muscle imbalance on the shoulders since you hunch over so much.
That shit can cause arthritis. You don't want constant pain on your shoulders now do you?
Go see a physiotherapist.
My left shoulder is separated.
It sticks out more than the other side. :(
this used to happen to me when i had shoulder cancer

Go and see a real doctor
Rare medical syndrome called Dylingular Fibrosis.
Only cure is to chop of your penis with a butcher's knife.

It didn't work.
my elbows always crack when i move them, doesnt hurt though
AND i crack my knuckles.
Mine to doo.
Sounds like you may have some bearing corrosion. Drill a little hole in your shoulder and put in a few drops of light machine oil.
I know a few people with a similar condition and apparently it works the same way as knuckle cracking, it's just a superpower and there's nothing to worry about.
You might wanna see an actual doctor, though.
You spend too much time on the PC. Deny this all you want but you know the truth.

Fuck no, mang. I've spent 15 hours each day in front of the computer for 5 weeks and nothing has happened.
Go to the doctors, or go to Dr.Facepunch, he scams insurance for dough so he can own the world. Also help garry.
You think your shoulder's weird? I can't move my neck without sounding like a grinder.
So? Half my joints crack when I move them. I can get some real corkers from my knees.

Don't do research on stuff like this, it will just make you a hypocondriac.
cracking is usually just the fluid in your joints "rapidly collapsing"
i've cracked my neck so much that when i wake up in the morning it's like a series of gunshots
My right knee cracks every time I walk up or down stairs. It's been doing this since last June or July, but it doesn't hurt at all. It is kind of annoying though.
Not big deal.
It's normal, at last for me.

thats just stiff bones
There's a reason why doctors have to train for so long to actually be able to diagnose you. Not even treat, just to diagnose.
You really think you or Dr. Facepunch can diagnose your problem correctly? Try walking into a medical library and diagnosing yourself with the books there. Just because you have access to the information doesn't mean you can understand it and it is useful to you. Maybe you can identify one of 10 different things is maybe could be, but how is that useful? A nosebleed can mean you have a deadly brain tumor, but it can also mean you've picked your nose too hard, google or anecdotal evidence from facepunch ain't going to help you there. Maybe you've been sitting in your chair wrong, maybe you have a deadly bacterial infection and need your arm amputated, who knows?
Hint: Google is not a sufficient replacement for a real doctor.
Also from time to time my ankle cracks when ever i move it. Its extremly annoying but doesn't hurt

Where do you think Dr. Facepunch gets it's information.
Besides, a hivemind of 300 medically inept people does not somehow make a good doctor. The best you can hope for is that they'll be able to tell you to go see a doctor or not, which they have, so go see a doctor.

Eh? I'm just as medically inept as everyone else here, which is exactly why asking us is no use, because we're not doctors.
