I thought it was fucking incredible, COMPLETELY worth it.

Left 4 Dead 2 is definitely worth a purchase, everything is so much more awesome than L4D.

Yes, it's l4d with some new monsters, new maps and melee weapons, all shit that should have been done to the first game, not a complete remake.

Just new models for every special infected, new sounds for every special infected, new common infected, an improved director that can modify paths and weather, 3 new special infected, dismemberment, completely new weapons, 5 new campaigns, a new gamemode, realism mode, new characters, new music, new items, a bunch of lines for every character, a new HUD design, a new menu, and a bunch of small improvements.
Definitely an expansion pack :downs:

Yeah, it should have been, i guess you don't buy expansion packs often, because thats all this peice of shit is. It's not worth the money i paid, it's worth far less.

Expansions are usually smaller than the game that they are expanding on.

L4D2 is just l4d with some new stuff.
The production value is just a lot higher all around.
I immediately noticed how much better ALL the animations were. Everything looks so real and smooth. The movement has a real fluid momentum to it too.
And the gore is fucking great. PLUS the fact that you can dismember them and have them still live is nuts. I blew a zombie's arm off and by instinct from l4d1 I assumed it was dead... nope. Kept coming and me and whacking me with its stubs.
If it would have been L4D expansion then there would have been some new campaigns, maybe new infected boss/common boss, maybe new weapon and maybe other small stuff like music/voices but not some major changes like that dismembermented infected still attacking or improved director to handle weather and new shit like that.
I do not know yet about L4D2 since my new computer comes at next week or week after that, hopefully worth of pre-ordering.

Is because of only a few servers being hosted at the moment, later on more will appear. I mean seriously? you expect a newly released game to have loads of servers?
I played singleplayer and it was awesome. Everything was awesome about it.

Most of the sounds aren't working anymore, also a few minor bugs (Which I've forgotten about in the past hour) are starting to annoy me. I hope I don't get bugs like this in the full version.
