I bought a camcorder without a charger and was wondering what would fit this. Help is much appreciated.
The camcorder is a vivikai dvh-595.

Mini USB?

That is either Mini USB as said above, or it is 4 pin firewire/iLink cable.
Almost all camcorders use firewire so I'm going to assume it's that. Plus, the internal connections dont look like that of USB.
5-pin Mini USB seems right, firewire doesn't look like it'll fit, additionally the cover of the slot reads 'usb'. Thanks FP.

Well I dug up a mini usb cable but it isn't charging. Next to the usb port are circular outlets with next to them reading, "HD" and "TV," but I don't see those being involved in charging. In the 'whats in the box' list at [url]http://www.lightinthebox.com/ViviKai-DVH-595--D9--8-0MP--Via-Interpolation--Digital-Camcorder-with-3-0-inch-TFT-LCD--SZW486-_p28296.html[/url] is an 'AC adapter'.
Reading on the cover of the outlets is,
USB
-----
DC
Indicated by the straight line I am assuming it powers up with a direct current and that the AC adapter converts the AC from the wall outlet into DC, but if that's the case the USB cable plugged into the computer should be charging this thing.
So what's the deal? Is it broken or is there something I'm missing.
You have to take out the battery and stick it in the charger and plug the charger to your wall outlet?
