Visual novel localization and publishing company MangaGamer announced on Tuesday that it will release Liar Soft's Kindred Spirits on the Roof (Okujō no Yurirei-san) yuri game on PC via Steam with uncensored adult content.MangaGamer describes the game:
Kokonotsuboshi Girls' Academy of Commerce, a school built on the site of an old castle, nicknamed "Shirojo." One day, the timid Toomi Yuna, who had been living a quiet life at this school, suddenly met two ghosts on the roof during lunch:Enoki Sachi, who died in an accident before the war, and Nagatani Megumi, who died of illness 30 years ago. The two "kindred spirits" died with unrequited feelings in their hearts, met, and fell in love. They ardently wish to experience their "first time" together before their eternal rest.
...But they don't know how.
The two who are bound to the site of the school enlist Yuna to help them create more "yuri" couples at the school so that they can glean some sexual insight from observing them, and to assist the girls struggling with their hidden feelings
Buying 10 copies
Lesbian ghosts that turns people into lesbians, not sure if this was thought up in Japan, or the bible belt :v:
A good direction, letting the uncensored versions of things onto Steam. I mean, if anyone gets pissy about tits they could easily just make an Adult Section for products that are particularly raunchy, though I imagine having the usual age-checks might help cover their arses anyways.
Yuri is the purest form of love

I figured it would just be tits and not closeups of fingerbanging.
I wasn't even considering fingerbanging or cunning linguistics or even masterful debating at the time, but such things shouldn't keep a title from getting on Steam either way.
Buying this. I'd say it's to show my support of allowing more uncensored titles because adults should be able to decide themselves what they want to play, but in reality I just want to watch some lesbian ghosts turn a school into an estrogen-fuelled orgy.
I hope I'll be long dead before the time comes when that edited Steam store frontpage picture full of weaboo porn and other such nonsense is true
💀

No matter what the reason, it's good steam is allowing this.
Censorship is not something that should be actively pursued. It's not like people are going to turn into some monstrosities due to this. And it's unlikely to be advertised anywhere, so unless you know what you're looking for, you sure as hell ain't gonna find it.
Im gonna get this. Support the non censorship n stuff
Normally I don't buy these things on impulse, since I'm not big into the animoos, but if it's for a good cause, voting with one's wallet for uncensored adult content, I'll slip somethin' into dat "ballot slot".
Once- once I've got the confirmation that the port's up to snuff, I mean. Hehe... *scratches back of head*
whoa christmas sure came early

A week or two ago the Steam front page was full of underage anime girls in bikinis and shit like Call of Tomsk... I'm surprised big publishers haven't moved away from Steam, like EA did.

EA didn't like giving money to Valve. Thats pretty much it.
The CG is pretty tame, so it's not as amazing as people think. The most you see are tits.
I am just hoping my ISP didn't block steam just because this thing (yes they block reddit because this reason). And i actually ok with this

Yeah I used to play some games with several Indonesians. Shits rough with restrictions over there.

I thought so. I doubt they'd let something like Nekopara go uncensored.

It's purely digital with heavy focus on lineart and with competent-Deviantart art quality.
a.k.a it looks like anime fanart.

I think you tried to make a joke here but it fell completely flat on its face.

That would be the absolute dumbest reason in the world for a publisher to remove their games from Steam.

Not sure about that, I really have to dig trough a whole lot of shit on Steam to get to a decent game now days. Of course it's not the only reason to move away from Steam, but things add up.

Why do you have to "dig" through anything when you can search for the game you want/interests you? There have always been loads of bad games, Steam didn't change that.

That is a weird question; why do I need to go trough something to find something I want ? Isn't that what "searching" is ?

5 years ago when you released a game on Steam it meant something, it was a huge accomplishment and a proof you made a great game. Now I can basically take my old hobby projects and release them there.

No, I mean, if you want to buy Bioshock Infinite you can just enter "Bioshock Infinite" in the search, no "digging" through anything.
I actually think the concept behind this game is really cute
