Okay, so I tend to appreciate the ganja :D and I am a little confused about the actions of my family.
So first we have my brother, he is a huge asshole and when he found out I smoke he tried to make sure I quit. He raided my room flushed everything he found(a small bag of shake and seeds), threatened to tell my parents, and is keeping tabs on how much money I have in my wallet and makes me show receipts and such to make sure I'm not buying weed. In short, he is a dick who thinks he is my mom.
Then we have my parents, my mom smoked pot in high school/college and didn't finish college, and i think, but am not 100% certain, that my dad smoked too. I pocket-answered a phone call from my mom last night and she heard me and some friends talking about a bong, and I came home completely fucked that night. (5 bowls out of a 2 foot zong) so they definetly know i smoke. but have not spoken to me about it yet.
my question is, what do you think of my family and based on their actions do you think my parents are chill with me lighting up?
Personally considering I don't know your family I can't really answer that question, but what your brother is doing is completely inappropriate and he's being a total jackass. It solely depends on your parents, and how you think they will react to it, or choose one parent to talk to about smoking.
Also, I didn't mention this, but when my brother searched my room he did it while I wasn't home and didn't tell me. I found out because when I went to take a shit there were small bits of bud in the toilet and when I looked my baggie was gone.
Find a better hiding spot for your stash. Kick your brother's teeth in.
If you just talk to your parents about it, you might find that they're a lot more open to it than you think. Just bring it up in casual conversation to see what they say.

^^ if it turns out that they are chill with me smoking then ill probably tell them that he flushed my shit and see if they make him pay me for it.

Go find through his stuff and throw his iPod in the toilet pretending "Bad music is bad mmkay?". He'll be pissed but at least he might stop. And if you find gross stuff just make sure your parents see them.

Your brother sounds like an asshole. Being violent to him or something will just give him an opportunity to go 'You're this angry because you're addicted to marijuana' or some other such bullshit. Your parents sound pretty cool tbh so just talk to them about it, if they're not cool with it just say that you've made your choice and aren't likely to change it. Look up some stuff on erowid about weed so you can have a proper discussion with them about it instead of you just listening to them bang on about how it's bad and shit, have some stuff to come back with at them.
