Sons of Anarchy follows the Sons of Anarchy motorcycle club but also features a number of ally and rival gangs, such as the Mayans, 1-9ers, Nords, True IRA and a white separatist group called the League of American Nationalists (LOAN). Regular characters in season one were (in order credited) Charlie Hunnam as Jax, Katey Sagal as Gemma Teller Morrow, Mark Boone Jr. as Bobby Elvis, Kim Coates as Tig, Tommy Flanagan as Chibs, Johnny Lewis as Kip 'Half Sack' Epps, Maggie Siff as Tara and Ron Perlman as Clay. Regular characters in season two are (in order credited, additions are in italics) Charlie Hunnam as Jax, Katey Sagal as Gemma Teller Morrow, Mark Boone Jr. as Bobby Elvis, Kim Coates as Tig, Tommy Flanagan as Chibs, Ryan Hurst as Opie, Johnny Lewis as Kip 'Half Sack' Epps, William Lucking as Piney, Theo Rossi as Juice, Maggie Siff as Tara and Ron Perlman as Clay. Major supporting or recurring characters include Drea de Matteo as Jax's ex-wife Wendy Case, Sprague Grayden as Opie's wife Donna Winston, Dendrie Taylor as Luann Delany, Kurt Sutter as incarcerated club member Big Otto, David LaBrava as Happy, Dayton Callie as Charming police chief Wayne Unser, Taylor Sheridan as Charming deputy police chief David Hale, Glenn Plummer as San Joaquin County sheriff Victor "Vic" Trammel, Ally Walker as ATF agent June Stahl, Jay Karnes as ATF agent Joshua Kohn, Adam Arkin as LOAN boss Ethan Zobelle, Henry Rollins as LOAN muscle A.J. Weston, Mitch Pileggi as Nords boss Ernest Darby, Emilio Rivera as Mayans President Marcus Alvarez and Tom Arnold as porn producer Georgie Caruso. Titus Welliver appears midway through season two as Irish gun kingpin Jimmy 'O.[3] Kenny Johnson, formerly from The Shield, also makes an appearance in late season two as a member of the Sons of Anarchy's Tacoma chapter. Characters Jax Teller He is the Vice-President of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club's Redwood Original (SAMCRO) chapter based in Charming, California, despite only being in his early 30s. He is 6' 1" and has a number of tattoos, most notably his club's logo on his back and his son Abel's name on his chest. On his cut, he wears patches reading "V. President" and "Men of Mayhem". He is also something of a "Nike bikie" as he often wears stylish and fashionable clothing, such as sneakers and casual jeans. The motorcycle that he rides is a Harley-Davidson Dyna-Glide, specifically a Super Glide Sport. Gemma Teller Morrow emma is the wife of Clay Morrow, widow of John Teller, and mother of Jax Teller. She is a matriarch, keeping all of her men happy and within reach. She has a closet full of dark secrets Bobby "Elvis" Munson Munson's father was an accountant in Reno, Nevada, and kept two sets of books for the Mafia. Bobby apparently learned accounting from him. He is Jewish and does Elvis Presley impersonations in Lake Tahoe, leading to him sometimes being referred to as Elvis. He is the Secretary of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club's Charming, California chapter. This means that he is responsible for all of the club's financial matters.[3]As one of the club's calmer members, he frequently finds himself having to try and calm tensions among his friends Alexander "Tig" Trage He is the Sergeant-at-Arms of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club's Charming, California chapter and is the gang's most violent member. Trager is extremely fond of women, and is a mechanic in both meanings of the word. He is extremely loyal to Clay Morrow, the club's President, his wife Gemma and the club itself. He has a strained love/hate relationship with Vice-President, Jax Teller arising from his use of violence in situations which may not call for it. His often callous demeanor hides a person with unlikely sensitivity and strong loyalty. Filip "Chibs" Telford He is a member of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club and, unlike most of the gang's members who are American, he is Scottish. He is nicknamed 'Chibs' because of his facial scars ("chib" is Scots for scar or knife), which are actual scars Flanagan received in a mugging. He is extremely loyal to Jax Teller, the club's Vice-President, and he also seems to have a good relationship with Tig Trager. Kip "Half-Sack" Epps He is a prospective member of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, which often results in hazing and him being given undesirable tasks. The other members generally have a good natured attitude towards Half-Sack when giving him these difficult tasks. Tara Knowles She is the love interest of the main character, Jax Teller, and in the show's first season, fights it out with his ex-wife, Wendy Case. Clay Morrow He is the President of the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, but is also something of a vigilante as he does everything in his power to ensure that drug dealers and rapists stay out of his town. He is 6' 2" and has a number of tattoos, most notably a Grim Reaper on his upper right arm and a US Army Airborne badge on his upper left, showing Paratrooper wings and the phrase "Death From Above".
I've been looking for a new series to get into, and I'm debating between this one and Mad Men. I've never been huge fan of the whole biker gang scene but I've only really played through GTA4's Lost and the Damned, so not much to base it off.
New season starts tonight at 10 EST on FX. Broke my automerge But I defiantly recommend Sons of Anarchy. Very good acting and a fantastic story.
I was watching a random episode late night one day and [sp]Prospect got stabbed by some scottish dude, Did he die or something?[/sp] Just wanted to know the outcome to that, I've never seen any other episodes though.
:siren: Major Spoiler :siren: [sp]The Prospect is named Kipp Epps and yes he did die, from what I have read the actor and the director had probloms so they just killed him off. He was my favorite too.[/sp]
Oh man...looking all over for this! totally sub'd it. Fuck, season 3 looks so fucking TITS Also, i love this show ever since the beginning.
Is this show anything like Jersey Shore?
Is this show anything like Jersey Shore?
hell no
hell no
Oh, lol, then it's probably not for me
[sp]I can't believe they killed off the deputy in the first episode of the season... no way is he alive after that.[/sp]
I watched a few episodes, but the plot was pretty boring and unconvincing, lol
Son of Anarchy, watched it.. Loved it.. It's a cool series..
I watched a few episodes, but the plot was pretty boring and unconvincing, lol
If you watched from the beginning and followed through the whole series you would be on the edge of your seat the entire time. [sp]Yeah the Sheriff was unexpected to say the least, but beating a mans head into the concrete I think sets the tone of the rest of the season.[/sp] Also if anyone could give me a name to the song/artist that was singing when [sp] The guy was holding the Jax's son in Ireland[/sp]. That would be great.
[sp]Have you seen the one wear the burn the guys skin off to take off the tattoo?[/sp]
yeah, shits nasty
Just watched first episode of season 3. [sp] Holy shit, Hale. And he was cool on occasion too.[/sp] The last few episodes of season 2 were the best things I've ever seen on TV, and season 3 looks like it won't disappoint [editline]02:24AM[/editline] Also, the female FBI agent is one of the most realistic and believable characters I've ever seen. She tries to be the generic "evil bitch", but has moments of vulnerability and sadness. I LOVE THIS SHOW.
Where can I watch this on the internet? The posts in this thread have me intrigued.
I miss Katey Sagal as Peggy Bundy
So guys, [sp]who do you guys think the shooters were from? Did you guys think it was the Mayans? or the Irish? Maybe the White Supremacists?[/sp] [editline]08:36PM[/editline]
Where can I watch this on the internet? The posts in this thread have me intrigued.
Hulu
[sp]The guy looked white but that doesn't mean much if they just hired random thugs off the street.[/sp]
[sp]To tell you the truth I have no clue, I don't think it was the Mayans, So that leaves the True IRA or League of American Nationalists (L.O.A.N).[/sp]
So guys, [sp]who do you guys think the shooters were from? Did you guys think it was the Mayans? or the Irish? Maybe the White Supremacists?[/sp]
[sp] My bets are on L.O.A.N. hiring some Mayans. The shooter that fell off looked hispanic to me...[/sp]
Oh good someone made a new thread, I like this show a lot, good cast too.
[sp]the guy looks really white to me but he could be a Mayan though...well we all just gotta wait then[/sp]
Cool I also like the Badage boys format of post
[sp]i kinda miss Half-Sack, but oh well...idk if you guys saw the last episode but aren't they going to have a new transfer from a different chapter?[/sp]
[sp]Yeah Half Sack always did have a special place in my heart, but yes they are.[/sp]
