The ceremony was led by National Assembly Speaker Diosdado Cabello in the capital, Caracas. As acting president, Mr Maduro has to call elections within 30 days.
Not really a surprise now is it? An idol died, doubt he'll be up for the hard task ahead of him.
This shit is unconstitutional as fuck. The Venezuelan constitution states that in case of the president not being able to finish his term on the first two years, the president of the national assembly must be sworn as president and call elections in no less than 30 days. If it's after 2 years, the vicepresident takes over and finishes the term. Chavez was never sworn as president on his last term therefore Maduro wasn't sworn as vice-president either. the Highest Court of Justice allowed for Maduro to keep on running the country until Chavez recovered, but since he died, then he should be effectively removed from the charge and have the president of the assembly sworn in as president. The most disregarded constitution in the world? Yup, I got it.

I'd hate to detract from this horribly illegal action, but this guy looks almost EXACTLY like my dad. Like, really, similar. But yeah, really unconstitutional.
ACTING President
Except Diosdado Cabello (whose name literal translation to english is "Godgiven Hair" :v:) should be the acting president, not Maduro. There is NO reason whatsoever on why maduro should be sworn as the president. Also, this guy never went to college and used to be a fucking bus driver. What a great candidate.
