I got this gun but the fire rate isn't so great.
would a lipo battery end it's life?
I recommend a 9.6v, i don't think that gun will take a lipo very well
The site.
Makes me die a little inside.
yeah they are on my shit list. There bullshit save prices. It's a jumble of text.
You Save $159.55!
BUT NOT REALLY!
And it says it's a 2010 gun.
We are still in 2009.

still no.
Case closed: you do not save 160$
Lol'd hard. That's pretty stupid.
Such a stupid site.
I lol everytime I go there and look at prices.
could I do a little upgrading to get this gun to shoot a lipo? like a better piston and spring?
they said it fires 12 rounds a second.
it actually shoots about 2 rounds a second.
I doubt it would fire 2 rounds a second, you're talking slower than a person who's good at a bolt action rifle.
Just get a 9.6v for that gun. Making a clone gun Lipo ready will cost you more than just saving up for a good high end AEG that will be Lipo ready.
I mean you can try a lipo on the stock internals, but don't blame us if it blows up. You would normally need a stronger gearset, a good shim job (which is hard), probably a new piston, metal spring guide, might even need a new gearbox shell. What I'm pretty much saying is you'd need a drop in gearbox that is lipo ready, and those don't come cheap.
Just looked up lipo. If a 9.6v slaughters AEG life I can't imagine what an 11.1v would do.
Trust me, most guns nowadays can handle a 9.6v just fine. I'm using a 11.1v lipo in what I think is a JG AK (probably was upgraded by the previous user) and so far it hasn't stripped. I don't recommend it, but it's one of my loaner guns I could care less about.
dammit I thought this gun was good.
arrgghh
ah well I could always sell it I guess, any recommendations on where to get a good professional aeg that is lipo-ready, maybe 500+ fps?
Perhaps a G&G? I hear that they are very good airsoft. Was gonna get the M14 from them but the local guy didn't have them.
You won't find any AEG shooting 500FPS.
In fact, why do you need to shoot 500FPS? Shooting that hard is going to require shit load of upgrades to keep it from blowing up. And your ROF will be slow.
You can't use any airsoft gun 500fps + in a game Unless I think it is a sniper and at a considerable range minimum, and even then you can't use it for auomatic fire.
I usually don't play professionally, I just buy ski goggles, wear 3 layers and go off in the woods and play with my friends,
I want it 500 fps because my friends tend to not call their shots, or "not feel it" when I hit them, I want to hear them grunt when they get hit and I wanna be able to get them through bushes n stuff when I see them there, and where I play, its really windy, and our bbs just curve off course.
it gets really annoying.
also my friends are buying tactical gear, that stuff is so tough i cant feel anything through that.
I think the guns used here are around 500fps:

A few guys in my field go up to 500 FPS. I've mentioned it before and I am forever more scared.
Here it's
AEG: 400 with .25
Sniper: 500 or 550 with .25 and 100 foot engage.
500 fps can make you bleed.
If you're using 500fps just to make the guy scream I refuse to help. And the fact that you're playing with ski goggles that are probably not ANSI Z87.1 rated it's a serious safety issue. A 500fps gun will easily shoot through glasses or goggles that don't have the proper rating. I'm not going to help someone get a gun who won't be playing with proper safety standards.
And if your bbs are curving why don't you just invest in heavier bbs?
Airsoft isn't about pain

It's about having a good time and getting excercise while being able to communicate and work in teams to acheive a goal.
ok I think i can get mine upgraded at a local store, then I can get a lipo in it.
and if 500 fps can make you bleed, then my gun must not be 420 cuz it can barely go through a cardboard box. (it came with a slip of paper saying it was tested at 420.)
I'll go pick up a face mask while i'm there too.
You can bleed at 380 fps if I am correct, but it all depends on outside factors.
The only reason I would want 500+ FPS is so that I can use heavier BBs.
You can use heavier bb's with lower fps guns.
I don't think they would have too much of an impact on fps if you are going from say .20 to .23 but I don't know.
Really? Well if anything I would use heavier weights for my rifle. .25g at most perhaps.

Maybe they used a lower weight BB, some companies do use lower gram BBs to lie about the FPS.
