Analyse basic anatomy. Since when do arms come out around the waist? When using stickmen maybe try making the arms come out from where the head connects with the body or just under (by just under I mean like 10 px tops). Save as PNG it preserves picture quality. Especially when making interactice stuff. I'd reccommend drawing once or twice a day, but don't post your pictures until you've improved.
