TBH, I hate when people fake those shots with the method shown. Recreating the effect of a real tilt shift lens takes more than just blurring the top and bottom of a picture. It just looks cheap this way, e.g. it does not make sense that the pole in the second picture or the tree in the third get so blurry at the top, which kills the illusion.
But I look forward to seeing some real shots achieved with proper equipment.
This isn't real tilt shift photography anyway and the photoshop method really only works with your top shot.
I really do enjoy a good fake miniature shot when it's done right though, so hopefully this thread doesn't die off.
I'm considering getting a lensbaby setup with their edge 80 optic down the track, so I'd love to try some of this when I do finally get one.

So, I found one of my older pictures and threw a filter that photoshop had in it. It came out okay, I mean it's good for not having a lens I guess :v:
