Well any of you with this knows it absolutely fucking sucks when trying to get to sleep, basically tinnitus is a constant ringing noise in your ears, it's different for everyone. In my case it's high pitched just like them annoying sounds you hear kids playing from their phones. So I was hoping if anyone knew where I could find an mp3 of rain falling which loops to help me get to sleep and concentrate, thanks.

since youre all useless bastards heres one i made myself
You know playing playing even more sounds just makes the tinnitus worse. Unless it's very quiet I think.
While I can't recommend the sound of rain or other such things, I can recommend some Ambience Drone music. Check out some Stars of the Lid and Eluvium. I have a bit of mild tinnitus, and this typically takes it away.

I know that more sounds can increase the severity of tinnitus, but I don't believe that things like rain dropping and drone noises can increase it. I could be mistaken, though, I am no doctor.
Is it permanent tinnitus? If you just came back from a concert or something then lay off the music for a few days. It should go away; if it's permanent then try using white noise on very low volume (this is what I've heard from other people though, I've only had tinnitus after a concert but it went away within a day.)

Yeah I don't think so. Just remember take a break after listening to loud music every once in a while.
Unlucky. Mine is such that I don't hear it through the day, but it only bothers me slightly at night.
Mine only occurs ever so often now. Which is surprising, though possibly alarming. I know I have it and it's absence makes me think it could be worse. Considering I am in band.
Stars of the Lid is so good. I also recommend Brian McBride's solo works and The Dead Texan if you're into that stuff, they're very similar to the SoTL sound.

The times that it is there will be after loud noises, such as when it is quiet after band practise.

Yeah I get that. I've had it for so long I barely notice it though unless I listen to really loud music. The doctor said I just have really sensitive ears compared to normal people but I dunno.
