You like free stuff, right? Sure you do. And so allow me to direct your attention to the Bundle Stars website, where they're offering Steam keys for the RTS Planetary Annihilation, which normally sells for $30/£23, for free.
“Free” does not mean “without effort,” of course, and you will have to jump through a few hoops to get the goods. Nothing too onerous, though: Sign up for the Bundle Stars newsletter, join the Bundle Stars Steam group, and eyeball a couple of ads, including one for the stand-alone expansion Planetary Annihilation: Titans at 70 percent off its regular price. And then, blammo—free game!
Obviously this is to help Bundle Stars but it's worth it if you ask me.

Its a fun game to play with friends but its absolutely bug ridden with its network code
Its a fun game to play with friends but its absolutely bug ridden with its network code
Don't get me wrong, it's got more bugs that your local prozzy but *free*. Hard deal to turn down.
I bought it early and regretted it since. I heard Titans was shit as well.
Pretty neat, Planetary Annihilation is one of those games I've had in my shopping cart for a few sales, but always decided to remove when I looked at the total.
Wasn't really what I was hoping it would become when I bought it on early access, and from the looks of it the expansion didn't improve matters much. It's not that bad, and certainly worth it if it's free, but it's a constant reminder in my library that the motto of early access is caveat emptor.
Eh, I know it's free and all, but who would really want this when Titans is out?
Don't actually have to sign up for the newsletter, FYI. Just put in a gibberish email address, worked for me.

Titans improved a lot about the game. Brought it closer to its roots and actually added a lot of the features they wanted to add earlier.
The reason it got its own page and became "standalone" is purely to distance itself from the other store page full of negative reviews and attempt to get a fresh review base using the game they actually wanted to release.
wow uber really likes fucking their customer in the ass dont they? first they throw the original release of PA in the garbage with titans, and now they give away PA for free. thanks for really reinforcing my feelings of wasting my money when i bought PA...

If titans is what they wanted to release in the first place why didn't they just release that? If titans is the good one I feel doubly duped by those guys then.
"Buy this one, now pay for it again to get the good version, hahahaha stupid guy"
Backing it was a mistake, titans wasn't even particularly good because the titan units are shit
The player base of this game has been dead. They made it free to bring it back, and judging from the large server listings, it seems to be working

that worked out real well when titans' first several, most rated up reviews are all negative.
[editline]17th March 2016[/editline]
and lmao 'actually release'. they should have done that the FIRST time they released it. i dont really think they were pressured all that much to push it out the door, they could have worked more on it instead of leaving it like the rushed shit it was
Got some hours into it and enjoyed it a lot. I however got seriously angry when they pulled the PA:Titans shit which is basically PA + Titans and sold it as a whole new game. What the fuck.
YES! Now if only the game actually ran.
Can't believe the system requirements say 12 GB RAM.
Bought 16, didn't work
Thought the key would be Titans and was very disappointed.
Thank god I didn't back my money on this project. By all accounts, it failed to deliver
Its really something that this game didn't deliver, really astounding when you think of all the cool technology in this and industry vets that worked on Supreme commander
never plaid this b4 but it looks like a fun game looking forward to checking it out
Just buy Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance. It's everything this games tries and fails to be, and is in my opinion the best RTS ever made. The multiplayer is active via the FAForever client.
I feel obliged to post this video whenever Supcom is mentioned:

SC:FA was one of my favorite RTSs of all time up there with the original starcraft and CnC(before EA bought westwood)

PA isnt the first time uber has fucked their customers. just the latest example. anyone who played monday night combat is still bitter
Really regret backing this game on Kickstarter tbh

You're better off just playing supcom, because PA is pretty much the same thing except worse in every way. The planet gimmick doesn't do much for gameplay at all really.

I love how that's a quasi-remake of Supreme Commander's original trailer. I love this trailer so much. It's such a great trailer that really sells the scale of Supreme Commander. I think the FA played better overall, but I liked the music of the first game a lot more.

I hate Uber for abandoning super monday night combat, I had soo much fun with it. Until it got completely abandoned so they could make PA. I'm not even sure if I want the free key for this game.

i will look into that as everyone is recommending it over this game

PA was trying to be a spiritual successor to SupCom and it isn't that at all, SupCom is shitloads better than PA.
