Bill S.978 to block all copyrighted content on the internet with a 'Ten Strike Policy'
3 replies, posted
Bill S.978 was written by some homo faggot in D.C to shut down any copyrighted material on the internet. If you show anything copyrighted on the internet 10 times, you go to jail. So that means music, movies, videos, video games, reviews, livestreams, anything at all. This going to hurt a lot. The people at congress are listening to people in Hollywood saying "They're streaming our movies on the internet for free, that's not right." Now I completely agree that this is bad, the streaming of free movies. But it isn't right to block something that might promote a business, like a game walk-through or music videos. Or lyrics to a song. Congress doesn't have any idea who this will affect, apart from the corporate cats at VEVO or The Asylum or some other shitty company. What about regular citizens? This is taking away our freedom of information!
