Record temperatures greeted many parts of Britain today as the country enjoyed its warmest day of the year so far. The mercury reached 17C (62.6F) in the east of England and London this morning - and could hit up to 19C (66.2F) later in the day. It's absolutely fabulous at the moment. Feels like summer's started. Prepare for a few months solid of rain, chaps.
Its just too hot at 17 degrees. We had all the aircon and doors / windows open!

Driving home from the gym in this weather was fucking glorious, especially blasting hooked on a feeling like a massive mong
Funny to think 17c would be considered a cold day in Australia or some other parts of the world.
It's very cold, wet and windy in Scotland today. Surprise, suprise.

I live in Scotland and even I know 17c isn't sit at the beach weather, what the fuck are you guys doing.
Funny to think 17c would be considered a cold day in Australia or some other parts of the world.
yes i too like to make needless arbitrary comparisons to other locations like the surface of mercury we get it - different parts of the world have different norms thank you
I live in Scotland and even I know 17c isn't sit at the beach weather, what the fuck are you guys doing.
There's a distinct lack of windchill and it's really damn good for this time of year. I'd be going outside if I was home, really not anywhere good to go lounge around in in London.
Did think is was unusually hot, felt like I was in summer or something.
Reading stuff like this makes me not want to visit my friend who lives in the UK :v:
I always know when people are talking about british weather because I keep getting mentioned in the ticker. its cloudy and shit here
i think this is like the first sunshine i've seen all year
Didn't we have snow around this time last year? It snowed loads last year, we haven't had any in W Yorks this winter.
It's -8 in Toronto right now. Please go to hell, England.
Lovely sunny day outside. And here's me sitting at my computer :(
Didn't we have snow around this time last year? It snowed loads last year, we haven't had any in W Yorks this winter.
I got snowed in just before Easter last year, admittedly this was also pretty odd.
I'm currently sat in cargo shorts and a tank top trying to keep cool. Go away Summer weather.
10c would be too hot, please piss off sun.
It's -8 in Toronto right now. Please go to hell, England.
its -28 in Yakutsk right now. Go to hell.
About this to 20 odd is perfect. Not too hot, not too cold and nice and sunny.
Too bad the weather is meant to be shit for the next week.
god i can't wait for the weather to be as good as it was last summer
The beginning of March is way too early for the hottest day of the year. Looks like Britain is going to have one hell of a hot summer this year
god i can't wait for the weather to be as good as it was last summer
It was so so good, it went on as far as September and October, I never felt so alive.
The beginning of March is way too early for the hottest day of the year. Looks like Britain is going to have one hell of a hot summer this year
How? Naturally March would be warmer than January or February
Its just too hot at 17 degrees. We had all the aircon and doors / windows open!
Why would you have aircon on and windows/doors open? The room/s should be sealed for aircon to work properly.
To think, the minimum here hasn't dropped below 17c since December, until this weekend. I can't wait for it to get even cooler.
