10. Child's Play Yes, I know this is going to be released this Summer, but either way, it hasn't been released to the public, and it deserves a spot on this list. According to sources, this Child's Play is going to be darker and scarier than the one released in the 80's. 9. Scott Pilgrim VS The World 2 Now, the first movie didn't leave TOO much space for a sequel, but wouldn't it be cool if they made one like... I'm not sure, Ramona Flowers VS The World? That would be cool, if they made a sequel with the back story, like, First is Kim, Envy, etc. etc., then Knives. 8. Family Guy The Movie I'm not sure it would make for a great movie, but the series is still hilarious. Hey, if Simpsons could do it, can't Family Guy? I'm not counting all the Star Wars parodies. 7. The Simpsons Movie 2 *SPOILER ALERT IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED THE CREDITS* The first movie left way too much room for a sequel, especially with Maggie saying "Sequel?" during the credits. Matt even did an episode on Futurama where they brought up The Simpsons Movie 2. 6. The Legend of Zelda Movie I was so pissed off 2 years ago on April 1st with IGN making that fake LOZ trailer. But hell, I was 12. Anyways, most games don't make for a good movie, but if LOZ made for a good manga, and if Scott Pilgrim made for a good movie, then why couldn't LOZ? 5. Halloween Re-Remake Screw you, Rob Zombie. I thought his remake sucked horribly, it took away from a good storyline to make a shit one. Someone like Wes Craven needs to make a new one, but I think he might make some rapist murdered by the victim's or child molester turned into a dream killer. Somehow that still sounds better than Rob Zombie's version. 4. Poltergeist Remake Oh poor, poor cast. Tell Steven Spielberg to GTFO before he kills another cast of people with 3 sequels. I have to say, great directing, horrible curse. Still, I'd love to see Poltergeist with some new-age editing. 3. The Mask 3 (2) I loved The Mask, then came The Son of The Mask. Well who the hell decided to do THAT!? I hope they are able to bring back some sort of good cast. Maybe they'll get the same shit storyline as the second. >:( 2. Stangeland 2 Coming out soon, with Robert Englund (that child molesting dream killer) as Cpt. Howdy, is a tattooed, crazy-ass, pierced like hell movie. This movie sent chills down my spine. Especially with the dick piercing. 1. Half-Life The Movie Video games don't make for good movies, but Gordan Freeman is too epic to be let down like this. Morgan Freeman could be Eli Vance, how epic would that be? No, I kid. This isn't number 1. Consider it 1 1/2. The REAL 1 is... (drumroll) 1. 2001 Maniacs 3 Yes, I realize this is being released. I still haven't seen the second, but I can't wait for the bloody massacre in this one. I wonder how evil that old lady is in this one, she looked pretty bad in the ads for the second. These are all my opinions, feel free to comment or change this list to your liking.
I'm looking forward to watching Number 10. All the other ones... not so much.
All the other ones... not so much.
I'm not sure, I like the originals, but I really don't know if I'd like to see them or not. Depends on how the director makes it. But, yeah, I believe 10 should've been 1. Wasn't reall focusing, just puting movies I'd like to see.
Child's Play - Yes Scott Pilgrim - No. Family Guy - Already made, technically it was just a story arc released as a movie but still Simpsons - Simpsons has turned to unfunny garbage Legend of Zelda - The cartoons prove otherwise Halloween - Too soon Poltergeist - Never heard of it The Mask - The first was ok, they turned more shitty from there Strangeland- Again never heard of Half Life - If it was done well, yes Maniacs - Never heard of it. Also, your name is God of Metal yet you have a Metallica avatar? Anything past Black was shit, and even then it was fairly mediocre.
I love Metallica, but I listen to a lot of other metal. Family Guy = Link to a source? Simpsons = I must agree, but that's the show LOZ = I would rather see a real movie rather than an animated movie or tv series Halloween = It still needs to be avenged and brought back from the grave Poltergeist = Rated PG, released in the 80's, horror movie, creepy as shit The Mask = The only thing I have to say to you about that is I agree Strangeland = Sadist who abducts people and gives them piercings and uses body customization with other sharp objects Half-Life = They better do it well Maniacs = Gross horror movie with soooo much blood
Scott Pilgrim will never ever have a sequel. Edgar Wright isn't one for Sequels.
You do realize that Scott pilgrim vs the world is just a movied version of the comics... Right?
You do realize that Scott pilgrim vs the world is just a movied version of the comics... Right?
Yes, I'm not an idiot. I just ended up puting a bunch of my favorite movies on there >_<
Before making a list like this, learn to think a little
Before making a list like this, learn to think a little
Before replying, understand it's just my opinion, and you don't HAVE to agree. Maybe you could learn to think a little, too?
But before making a list like this think realistically, I gurantee most of these franchises are dead and will never have movies again.
Either way, you didn't need to post and better my list making skills. Nothing was forcing you.
I love Metallica, but I listen to a lot of other metal. Family Guy = Link to a source?
It's boring.

10. Child's Play What is your definition of unreleased? 9. Scott Pilgrim VS The World 2 It actually left no room for a sequel at all the likes of which you're talking. Scott Pilgrim was based off a comic series. 8. Family Guy The Movie Family Guy has sadly gone downhill 7. The Simpsons Movie 2 Same as above 6. The Legend of Zelda Movie I'd much rather let the Zelda games stay games. A movie would be a sign that they were ending the series and wrapping it up with a film. 5. Halloween Re-Remake I've heard a lot of good things about Rob Zombie's remake, but haven't seen it. Nonetheless, the original Halloweens were awesome and I don't think they need remaking. Friday the 13th remakes would undoubtedly be terrible. 4. Poltergeist Remake Who would sign up for this film knowing they would die? 3. The Mask 3 (2) I don't know how you could revive the first The Mask, especially after that sequel. 2. Stangeland 2 No idea 1. Half-Life The Movie I would support this after Valve completely draws the Half-Life universe to a close. 1. 2001 Maniacs 3 Your number one unreleased movie is a movie that's already being made? What is your definition of unreleased? And I've never heard of this series. meh i hope to god nobody suggests star wars 4, 5, and 6 remakes

None of these movies have been released yet. I have to agree with most of your post, but the Halloween remakes seem so quick and dry, as if there is no suspision or mystery, and it is constantly cut in with child Michael and his mother. The end of the second one is terrible, as well.
I say no to all of them.

Because if not, 9, 7, 6, 5, 3, and 1.1 could not be on this list.
wasn't 2001 maniacs that terrible bloody-gore horror film based around those teens finding an old-style confederate town in the south, if my film knowledge serves me correctly? fuck how could they even desire to make a sequel to that steaming piece of shit [editline]23rd January 2011[/editline] let alone a THIRD

But, still, the plot is shit, the gore is cool.
Do you also have "will never exist by any shadow of a doubt" as part of your definition for unreleased? I find that sequels sometimes ruin the feel of the movie. I often fear if a sequel of a movie that I liked is announced, the sequel has to be real good.
I came here expecting an interesting thread about actual films that were being made and looked promising but got cut due to problems with budget or actors etc. I was disappointed to find a childs scribblings about his mis-understanding of the word "unreleased". I want my money back OP.

Second of all, why are you bringing this up, it's not like you'll find a conversation that you just have a beer with your buddies over on facepunch. Third of all, how is it a mis-understanding? Unreleased just means not released yet. If it hasn't been released, its not released, or unreleased.
Valve said that a Half Life movie will not happen unless it came directly from Valve. So, I guess we can kiss that boat goodbye.
They should have an office space 2... Starring milton and nobody else. "Office Space 2 : Milton's Big Adventure!"
They should have an office space 2... Starring milton and nobody else. "Office Space 2 : Milton's Big Adventure!"
Oh boy! It will be just as good as Fox and the Hound 2!
thread of the year.
LoZ the movie really? that cant be a movie and it will never will be.
"Half-Life: The movie" NOPE
I remember this mediocre as hell movie about a serial killer on an airplane or some shit, and they made a sequel. My dad and I watched them both at midnight, pissing ourselves laughing at how awful it is.
