I'm pretty sure everyone's heard of Sculptris, If not boy do i have a treat for you.
Sculptris is a 3D sculpting program, Big surprise right? Its really fun to mess around with and easy to use.

I just learned about custom brushes, They really help in making the models more HD.
And bump maps are awesome.

I can't figure brushes out. If i draw with them then they smear and it becomes the same as a normal brush.

Don't draw just click over and over, Also make sure the strength and stuff aren't all the way up or it just looks bad. (its more for like texture after the first layer of paint.)

I exported the model from sculptris, and moved it into 3dsmax, converted it, and rigged it. (here) [url]http://mixamo.com/[/url]

Well the model itself only took 30 minutes, but then i colored it and added a bunch of tiny details which took another 30 or so minutes, it was around one hour, maybe 1 hour 15 minutes.
