October. That’s the tentative launch date Apple has set for its first, long-in-the-offing foray into wearable devices,' said Re/Code. What? what?! WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING?
What? what?! WHAT ARE YOU WATCHING?
[sp]your pop-pop[/sp]
The screen will crack as soon as you bump your arm into something
If iOS screens worked horizontally I would use a sleeve and wear it pipboy style.
ready for the next ridiculous series of lawsuits? :suicide:
why do you need a watch if you HAVE THE DAMN SMARTPHONE IN YOU
iWatch and G Watch are such boring names for these products
why do you need a watch if you HAVE THE DAMN SMARTPHONE IN YOU
Because people are lazy and will buy anything Apple releases.
The only thing I'd like about the new devices is the integrated heartrate monitor.
The screen will crack as soon as you bump your arm into something
Haven't seen a single android screen cracked. Everyone I know who has an iPhone has a cracked screen
why do you need a watch if you HAVE THE DAMN SMARTPHONE IN YOU
so you dont have to pull it out every minute to check the time, or check text messages? its like you didn't think about it for even one second before posting
why do you need a watch if you HAVE THE DAMN SMARTPHONE IN YOU
They're pretty nice in that if you're walking or whatever and don't feel your phone vibrate, then you'd get a nice vibration on your wrist that's pretty hard to miss.
so you dont have to pull it out every minute to check the time, or check text messages? its like you didn't think about it for even one second before posting
Yes, because that's such an inconvenience.
Yes, because that's such an inconvenience.
it is, have you ever had to? you look like a total knob too checking it al the time. its a lot faster to just check your watch like people have been doing for hundreds of years
so you dont have to pull it out every minute to check the time, or check text messages? its like you didn't think about it for even one second before posting
check the time? buy a watch god damn it see your text messages? Do it, whats so incovienent about it [editline]7th June 2014[/editline] do you think people will go like "HAHAHA CHECK OUT THIS TOOL AND HE USING HIS SMARTPHONE"
What's wrong with having a watch that can also inform you of text messages It's a fucking watch, with some added capability. Literally nobody will give a shit. Unless it has a camera built-in, then people will call you an asshole and punch you for having a device on your body with a camera.
check the time? buy a watch god damn it see your text messages? Do it, whats so incovienent about it [editline]7th June 2014[/editline] do you think people will go like "HAHAHA CHECK OUT THIS TOOL AND HE USING HIS SMARTPHONE"
geez, so i want a smart watch. do you have to be such a dick about it? (´・_・` ) just becuase you dont find the idea cool doesnt mean its a bad idea, or that its useless.
im looking forward to it
Haven't seen a single android screen cracked. Everyone I know who has an iPhone has a cracked screen
I have an iphone 5 and I don't have a cracked screen, even after dropping it multiple times. I had a fourth gen iPod touch beforehand for 3 years, and I never had a cracked screen on that either even though I dropped that even more. I know someone who has a samsung galaxy s3 and cracked the entire screen just by dropping it once 5cm. That doesn't mean everyone who has that phone has a cracked screen. I know plenty of people with uncracked iPhones. In the end, it's not about the phone but how you use it. It's true that because the entire front of the iphone is glass, it's more prone to cracking, but since the galaxy and other phones are approaching the same design, it's becoming more of a level playing field. EDIT: it's also worth pointing out that when the Motorola watch was on Facepunch, there was a lot less criticism and a lot more fantastical gibbering.
(´・_・` )
uhh...
Haven't seen a single android screen cracked. Everyone I know who has an iPhone has a cracked screen
I was saying about apple devices, not android devices And android screens do crack, should see some of the galaxies around here with chipped screens and missing parts
yeah why the fuck should we ever make something that is capable of doing both? fuck innovation right.
but we can check the god damn time with the smartphone argh
yeah why the fuck should we ever make something that is capable of doing both? fuck innovation right.
Because the convenience isn't worth the price.
What's with all the criticism? Apple is bringing out some solid competition. Also Apple products are pretty pretty damn good overall, dunno why nearly everyone here bashes them. Sure they are overpriced and locked down, but if you buy apple you accept that.
-snip-
If this was google doing it you'd all be shitting your fucking pants in excitment.
My brain hurts. Please stop with the quirk of putting i at the beginning of everything. It worked about 5 years ago.
iWatch you buy a better Smartwatch
Sure they are overpriced and locked down, but if you buy apple you accept that.
Doesn't overpriced pretty much mean not good(at their price range)?
