Heavy smoker: Chinese collector proudly displays his prize rock that can 'inhale cigarette in five minutes' - Luo Yuanshui's rock 'can smoke an entire cigarette' at breakneck speed - Onlookers are stunned at the hard-smoking 2.2kg piece of stone http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2281248/Heavy-smoker-Chinese-collector-proudly-displays-prize-rock-inhale-cigarette-minutes.html
I genuinely don't understand how this is news, or even newsworthy. I'm at a loss for who contacted a news agency with this story and got a reply.
Imagine if he got his hands on some weed, that rock could get stoned in no time.
this is the stupidest thing i've ever seen/heard. do they realize tailor-made cigarettes have chemicals in them that MAKE them burn down even when they're not being actively smoked?
The point of the article is that for some reason the burntime on a cigarette is reduced up to a minute when placed in the rock, compared to holding it.
The point of the article is that for some reason the burntime on a cigarette is reduced up to a minute when placed in the rock, compared to holding it.
So where is the evidence of this? All I have is a claim from some guy that says his rock he found can smoke cigarettes.
I genuinely don't understand how this is news, or even newsworthy. I'm at a loss for who contacted a news agency with this story and got a reply.
Dailymail "news agency"
Dailymail "news agency"
Point noted.
I can't decide if it's crazier that this rock is able to inhale a cigarette or that someone thought it would be a good idea to give a rock a cigarette
Do you smell what the rock is [del]cookin'[/del] smokin'?
ban cigarettes and rocks that rock is the bane of society
Thats amazing!
It even looks like the side view of a nose/mouth
this is the stupidest thing i've ever seen/heard. do they realize tailor-made cigarettes have chemicals in them that MAKE them burn down even when they're not being actively smoked?
I thought that cigarettes were designed to extinguish themselves after an amount of time to prevent fires.
I thought that cigarettes were designed to extinguish themselves after an amount of time to prevent fires.
nope, they're designed to burn all the way down so you're more likely to get another one so you're gonna run out faster so you're gonna buy more. just another facet of the evilness of tobacco companies
I thought that cigarettes were designed to extinguish themselves after an amount of time to prevent fires.
only hand rolled ones do that, in cold weather it's a struggle to actually keep one lit
God the Daily Mail is such a joke.
I was gonna make a 'stoned' joke, but someone already did it.
everyone knows rock beats paper.
Imagine if he got his hands on some weed, that rock could get stoned in no time.
oh my god this pun right here
I'm starting to think that the daily mail wants to be like the onion.
Care home was so cold pensioners had to wear their coats INDOORS and one resident didn't have her hair washed for four months, finds damning report
This is the purest definition of "a slow news day".
this is a bad article i haven't had a smoke in like 3 weeks but someone left half a pack in my bathroom
I thought that cigarettes were designed to extinguish themselves after an amount of time to prevent fires.
Only in America AFAIK. Japanese cigarettes don't do that so ill assume its the same with other countries.
I thought the first picture was some guy in some leather bag.
Am I the only one who expected Dwayne Johnson smoking a cigarette?
Am I the only one who expected Dwayne Johnson smoking a cigarette?
It was my first thought as well, to be honest.
That rock doesn't look healthy.
It's still probably the best article that's ever been released by The Daily Mail
