pffffffffffffft this Is pathetic youtube
I really can't wait for YouTube's response to all of these false claims. This is such a huge fuck up I hope they decide to do a big fat apology or something. That would be the day.

That would be the day.
Youtube responding to the community? I'm pretty sure they never said anything to the Google + integration so I wouldnt expect anything for this shite.
The thing is that Google doesn't care about how we feel, they have the video sharing market pretty much monopolized, until they get competition this shits just going to keep getting worse.
Okey sure i can belive the guy in the video but he shows the video manager page. Not the content id claim. By whom and why was is matched is what i want to know Edit: so the description is: Title pretty much says it all. Some of my videos now match third party content, but this one simply says "monetization rejected" after I disputed it... :( Youtube has simply said no to moneytasation. That can be many reason but none are third party. that is the whole content id thing.
Okey sure i can belive the guy in the video but he shows the video manager page. Not the content id claim. [editline]16th December 2013[/editline] Not really anyone's fault besides YouTube if it's automatic either.
why isnt an alternative to youtube
some guy on youtube posted this
Are you sure you actually got a copyright claim? It looks like you were just flagged for monetization approval; which is something completely different. If you actually got a copyright claim from Content ID then you would be able to see who claimed it and be able to dispute it. If it said "further proof needed to monetize your video" then that's completely different and that has nothing to do with the current issue at all. •
is there truth to this?
if you are trying to justify the claim, isn't the burden of proof supposed to be on the claimant, rather than the defending side? if, logically, any new claim is supposed to be backed up with evidence to support that claim, then companies should have to provide adequate proof that a video is in violation of copyright before the video can be "flagged" or "rejected". you are basically assuming someone is "guilty until proven innocent", which is illogical as fuck.
some guy on youtube posted this is there truth to this?
If it was a third party claim it would show up in the video manager directly. So I don't thin it's a third party claim.
Dailymotion, let's go everyone
Dailymotion, let's go everyone
then google buys dailymotion
the video in question. Aren't the current weird claims mostly related to music?
why isnt an alternative to youtube
Because the current alternatives suck, apart from Vimeo but they like I've said in the past, deal with people who do small films
why isnt an alternative to youtube
There's a ton, they're just all garbage right now, and because they have an irrational fear of money and success, won't improve their sites.
I really can't wait for YouTube's response to all of these false claims. This is such a huge fuck up I hope they decide to do a big fat apology or something. That would be the day.
They will never do that. There's no competitor to youtube, no alternative for people to go to. Even with shit updates like these, people will stay.
Looks like we're in for the long haul.
Had something similar happen to one of my videos: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/42hcA1C.png[/thumb] "Men - Men", what the fuck is that
I have around 150+ gaming videos and none of them have been flagged Either because they are that bad or im lucky I guess
Had something similar happen to one of my videos: [thumb]http://i.imgur.com/42hcA1C.png[/thumb] "Men - Men", what the fuck is that
Men is my favorite group! Never thought they'd sell out like this, though.
Part of me hopes those scumbag fucks in the Youtube office keep going full on with these completely stupid updates just so the site finally dies and we can move on There is no redemption for Youtube
GarryTube I'm still pushing for it
