Worthplaying captured a shot of the sale page for a batch of credits with accompanying description. “Buying this pack will grant you 925 Erudito Credits ingame, allowing you to acquire some game items, disregarding your current level.”

Listings on the Playstation store have prices, too:
Assassin’s Creed III 155 Erudito Pack – ($4.99)
Assassin’s Creed III 20 Erudito Pack – ($0.99)
Assassin’s Creed III 380 Erudito Pack – ($9.99)
Assassin’s Creed III 50 Erudito Pack – ($1.99)
Assassin’s Creed III 925 Erudito Pack – ($19.99)
Ubisoft haven’t spoken about in-game microtransactions yet, but it’s out tomorrow on consoles in the US, so we should see what we’ll be able to buy with Erudito coins soon enough. Assassin’s Creed 3 is due out on PC on November 20 in the US and November 23 in Europe.
I am not sure how I feel about this.

I could see it just fine. Rehosted it to puu.sh just in case.
Yes [del]EA[/del] Ubisoft, run that shit straight into the fucking ground and wonder what happened after watching the twisted flaming wreckage of your failure.
Ubisoft makes Assassins Creed.

Ubisoft's publishing AC3, not EA

Are you serious? EA?
Edit:
Also, I'm wondering if you're able to get ingame-currency through gameplay only. If so, it's not as bad, but it's not a fine way either.
So selling power pretty much? Wait to go Ubi.
I dunno if I'm down with this. It smells like buying power.

Whoops, my bad :suicide:
It's pretty much buying power early. People that don't pay can still access it, but it will take longer.
Only a couple steps away from P2W though.

Ubisoft fucking their customers over yet again. If you are surprised by this, you are disconnected from reality.

It's something I expect from F2P games. Not games I pay 60 dollars for.

As I've said before. It's fucking ubisoft.
Erudito sounds like a dumb ass name :v:
Hello i'm the internet and i don't care who published what as long as i can name someone i don't like and throw a tantrum about things that i don't like

Well to be fair a few years ago Day 1 DLC was almost unheard of, I think it's a load of bullshit. Expansion packs that added massive amounts of content was all there was and even then they weren't conceived until months after release.
I would honestly enjoy it if something (bad) happens to whoever's responsible for all of those retarded marketing moves we've seen from Ubisoft for the past couple of years.
Omg everybody knows ea is the only publisher guys. Stop being ignorant!
Definitely waiting a month before buying, if I buy.
Hopefully it's like in AC2 at least.
Wait. people can purchase in game money with real world dollars? wont this fuck up the multiplayer? allowing players to essentially buy power? Unless its a side grade system much like TF2?
I guess it's a good thing I don't have interest in multiplayer of the AC series.

If this is for singleplayer I'm fine.
Otherwise fuck off ubisoft.
i really don't care since i know i'm not going to waste my money on this crap
There is seriously never an article about Ubisoft or EA that any gamer likes.
HOW?
HOW CAN YOU BE SO BAD?
Erudito Credits
Best name for currency ever.
Who plays AC for the online anyway? I always looked on it as a bonus.
Why do all games nowadays need DLC. Just ship the game with it all for fucks sake

This. I'm definitely never playing it online now, not when it's gonna be full of people who paid $20 to shortcut to getting all the best items and armor.
