KANSAS CITY, MO (KCTV) -
An impoverished family can't pay to bury a five-month-old boy who died unexpectedly.
So a donation jar was set up at a Kansas City gas station to collect donations. That is until a heartless thief swiped the jar with $400 in donations.
Tamauri Warren died last Friday in Independence. Lakeisha Warren says her son just suddenly stopped breathing and that the Jackson County Medical Examiner's Office has yet to determine why her son died.
"It hurts because I never thought I'd have to bury my five-month-old son," Warren said.
Warren and her family can't afford to pay for Tamauri's funeral so they have been unable to collect his tiny body. The family set up plastic baby bottles with his picture attached at shops throughout the area.
A police report states that somebody walked into a gas station at 39th Street and Garfield Avenue and stole a donation jar about 9 p.m. Wednesday. The thief was seen on surveillance tape walking out with the bottle jar.
Warren and her mother, Tanya Warren, were flabbergasted to learn about the theft.
"I couldn't believe it. What person steals from a dead baby?" Warren said. "The poster says, 'Can you help bury me. I don't have insurance.'"
Tanya Warren said she doesn't understand how the man can grab the donation jar with her grandson's picture on it.
"It's just shocking to take from a deceased baby," Tanya Warren said.
Freddy Bearden put $5 in the jar just before it was snatched. He is angry at the cold-hearted crook who stole the donations, knowing the donations were going to benefit a family facing an unspeakable tragedy.
Warren has a message for the thief.
"I want him found. You stole from my son. You took what we need to put him in the ground. I want him prosecuted," she said Thursday.
A memorial fund now has been established to help the family.

You have GOT to be fucking kidding me. No, seriously, WHAT. THE. FUCK.
I hope the miserable fuck who stole that money (that I'm 99.9% sure he'll spend on crack) realizes that what comes around, goes around. May guilt eat away your conscience, to the point you'll turn yourself in, so that you end up in Federal "Pound-me-in-the-ass" prison where all the sodomites will feast upon your sorry ass till the day you die. *rage*
Damn, I wish I could donate some money to that woman :/
How do we know the thief knew the money was for a dead child when he stole it? It doesn't make it any more acceptable, but if someone was doing a simple spur of the moment smash and grab it's not like they were intentionally stealing money for a child.

Oh, I'm sure he saw it and was well-aware of what he was doing.

This is just awful.. God damn.
I hope that money goes to a good cause, like feeding somebody.
Wow, this is one of the most super-villain things I've heard done, 2nd would be when a guy stole a dogs wheelchair. That's just plain horrible though, I hope who did that contracts a flesh eating bacterial disease.
This guy wanted to make an new trolling level. TROLL LAND DOESN'T APPROVE THIS ACT WITCH IS HORRIBLE EVEN FOR THE TROLLS.

How did they know how much was in there?
Also, the usual way to do this is establish the fund at a location like a bank or funeral home. You put jars of money around town and are shocked that people steal it?
Hey guys what if this guy needed this money to feed his family or keep his house? Those things are more important then burying a dead baby when you can just cremate him.

Nice to see your awful posting hasn't changed.
Cremation still costs quite a bit, asshole.

Sicko. Why would you wish that on anyone? He was stealing to provide for his family!
that is incredibly tacky "please help bury me i don't have insurance" and soliciting donations in general is usually pretty pathetic
I don't see how you guys are condemning the family. Regardless of if its tacky or not the best method or whatever, this family is too poor to have a funeral for their dead son and some man stole the money.
How the fuck do you not see this as terrible?
Men gunning down helpless kids over political opinion, people stealing money intended to help bury dead infants, whats next?
A man selling his autistic child out for prostitution?
Oh wait. :smithicide:

Nah, that's just Garry having some fun.
He likes messing with us like this, says the feeling he gets is similar to the one you get when you disturb an ant nest and watch them swarm all over the place.
Really? He probably stole the money to buy weed and shit. This is sad...
I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

I have come to the conclusion you are a sadistic psychopath, as nobody with the faintest shred of a conscience would subject his fellow human begins to such awful posts.
Really? He probably stole the money to buy weed and shit. This is sad...
He was probably going to use the money to support his family. This is entirely justifiable.
What makes you think he'd do that? Not every thieves steals money to support their family. Jobs exists, and doing it by stealing 400$ of donations is just sad.

He probably couldn't get a job so this was the only way.
I understand the act of taking this money was wrong however I was trying to point out that it was possible the man could have need the money more, if he did take the money for his tabacco/crack addiction then I think should be hanged and displayed in public or just shot. Also Is it the cool new thing to hate
on me Itn?
