It'd be awesome if you get a bunch of people together to do this sort of thing, then you get like some people in maybe some chemical hazard suits(doesn't have to be the top notch stuff) to start 'surveying' the area.
I think people would start freaking out if done right.

I think it'd be really freaky and really easy to coordinate a large group of people to walk in a crowd and then all suddenly fall down "dead", followed by people in hazmat suits and people in FBI-esque outfits yelling for everyone to stay still as "the pathogen is airborne".
