350-400 FPS
AUG, FAMAS (doubt it) or if possible AK 74/47 design
US
Also, something that wont crap-out on me.
You're gonna have a tough time finding a decent gun for $100.

You should save up a little bit more than just $100. If you're after an AK design, try Dudder's suggestion, or [url=http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.php?products_id=1763]this[/url]. I'd say you should save up about fifty dollars more at least, it'll open up more options to you.

Are you going to be playing on an actual field, or are you just doing backyard wars/having a display piece with the gun?
street/backyard wars, plus the ocastional forest perserve fight
I'm still voting for Dudder's suggestion, to be honest. Cyma's making their stuff more solidly, but JG's not bad for a clone company. But I think you oughta save up a little more money before doing anything, you can get better guns around $150 that will last you longer.

And don't play in the goddamn streets. The last thing we need is another incident where some person calls the cops and the kid is stupid enough to point at them. Then we get to hear about how cops shot some kid playing with an airsoft gun. It's the last thing this hobby needs, more bad publicity.
And don't think "But it has an orange tip!"
The tip doesn't help at all, AT ALL.
In some (or most) circumstances, it won't stop a cop from shooting you if he thinks you're threatening him. Orange tip or none.
We had the cops show up once.
They said we can't play for a few weeks because they are fixing a drainage pipe and construction workers will be around. While we were playing.
They were cool about it too when my friends being a dumbass accidently shot the cop, he was like, "Nice shot kid."
I had the cops arrest me for carrying a all yellow nerf gun... Looking like an AK wont help that at all.

I play 4v4 sometimes in my backyard for fun when I'm not going out to events in the fields.
The cops were called once but they were cool about it. They in fact sat in the cop car for about half an hour waiting for us to finish so they wouldn't get hit with one of the BB's.
Fuck it, don't help this guy out. We've warned him about the dangers of playing in the streets and he still insists on doing it anyway. If he isn't going to listen on how to protect this hobby, then we shouldn't help someone who's going to get it banned.
