there's gotta be more to it, no way that manager or whatever would be that dumb

I guess she probably thought it was some negative story or anything and just did not know what to do so she just threw her out.
Its funny how this is just a regular items on the breakfast menu and how they sponser the news show. GG. :v:
we had a news channel come into my store today to cover all day breakfast. this may have just been a bad case of miscommunication betweem the district manager and the store manager
Most mcdonalds here are run like underground chinese cockfighting pits. I've had managers eyeballing me while I ate for plugging my phone charger into a wall.
I bet they refuse to allow recording because of how disgusting some of the employees treat the food they cook, or how it even looks in the first place:

To think they owned Chipotle and sold it to renovate their locations.

There's a vague line between "Ideal" and "False advertising" that has been crossed.
No one goes there for perfect restaurant quality stuff, but it at least has to resemble the promoted product.

yeah but to many people it resembles the promoted product enough considering it is fast food
That zoom-in on the IHOP killed me.

For some reason dishonesty has been allowed to be profitable for decades, so many adverts usually make the product look way better than the real thing, when in reality they should be legally obligated to be honest about their product and stomped into the mud for rampant dishonesty.
But that's just me and my morals speaking, and of course moral standards have no place in big money. Only robotic efficiency and soulless munchkin twats are allowed to be part of the money machines, no spirit allowed.

Heh, the patty for the real mcchicken actually looked better than the ad one imo. There were actual fibers in the meat.

I have literally never had my food at McDonald's be this gross looking. I feel like the people who make videos like this pick the most disgusting sandwich as possible just to illustrate their point of... what? That commercials lie? Hate to break it to you bud but so does literally every other commercial. :v:

Honestly, if we had actual robots instead of half-dead teenagers making the food, it'd probably end up looking a lot closer to the commercials.
The Burger King near me does it really well.

Admit it, this is pretty good! It's usually around this quality.

you do realize that every resturant in existence does this exact same thing minus the few exceptions that exist?
I mean hell if you seriously think it'll look like it does in the commercial you are gullible
Honestly, if we had actual robots instead of half-dead teenagers making the food, it'd probably end up looking a lot closer to the commercials.
True true, we can in fact do it. We do in fact have the technology to create semi-decent burgers on a sort of "production line" machine, some guys called "Momentum Machines" actually constructed such a machine to do that! It's probably more expensive to purchase and install than to just hire a bunch of teenagers to do it all manually, but if the minimum wage jumps up as significantly as certain groups suggested, such machines might even become profitable.
But on the flipside, a lot of young 'uns would be out of a job. Though that said they'd probably be better off in other areas of work, rather than be stuck in menial burger-flipping for months or years of their lives.

I could of found better examples but I didn't have the time, I just remembered that video.
Maybe this will do it:

Same thing happened in a Tim Hortons back in the 90s [the video is on youtube] but the fact is with millions of locations disgusting things happen. Instead of dealing with it, though, they decide to curbstomp anyone with a camera out of the store, like the guy with the camera attached to his head in France.
All fast food locations have bad points, but being neurotic about it isn't going to make things any easier this day of age. Back in the 80's decent cameras were the size of entire torsos so it made it easy, now everything is a camera.

Believe it or not, but morals are a rather big thing in business, they just aren't black and white.
There's also things like mashed potatoes used in place of ice cream for advertising. It's still food, of course not what they are trying to sell, but it is still legal where I live.
that all being said though mcdonalds is a pretty nasty as shit store
I just love it when people nitpick like this
McDonalds is a franchise. Want a store? Ask and they will start it up for you, and you manage the store under their name. I have many of those in this town, Subway, McDonalds, etc, they're all clean and fantastic, why? Good management. Why are they shitty in many other locations? Terrible management.
Blame the shitty management, not McDonald as a whole.
also I don't even know what your reply is about. I was saying that almost every resturant lies in commercials. Every resturant like Mcdonalds (Big, basically) has examples of really shitty management. Almost every model magazine lies with photoshop, same thing happens with video games, movies, and thousands of things. Stop nitpicking specifically at 1 of them.

oh well it just so happens that I'm a dumbass and can't read
I'll edit it so people don't get misled, my bad
Don't you like need approval to film in restaurants/shops? I'm not American but I almost got thrown out of a supermarket for filming without permission once. And it didn't look like the manager was into the idea.

There's a Burger King near me and I've been there several times.
...out of which once was when I was NOT drunk as shit. I am ashamed to go there, I think the people working there know me. I'm, uh, a personality when drunk. :v:
Food's amazing though.

Well, if the manager of the store doesn't know what the story is about that implies that there was no communication with her. I'd be pretty pissed if some random people came into my store with cameras and were "annoying" my customers without even telling me wtf they're doing

Well, I remember two separate occasions when I bit into raw unprocessed grains in a burger. That wasn't particularly fun...
Nothing beats when I bit straight into an olive pit on a pizza years ago, though. Its a wonder I didn't crack a tooth.
Ever since I've been careful when chewing olives on pizza.

In terms of why the food looks different.
