[b][u]Bio:[/u][/b]
cLOUDDEAD was an experimental hip-hop group consisting of musicians Doseone, Odd Nosdam, and Why?. The name of this group came from a knock-knock joke Doseone's sister told him when she was around 5 years old. Although disbanded, these musicians still remain part of Anticon, a San Francisco Bay Area independent record label they helped found in 1997. Anticon hosts some amazing musical artists, and you should check some of them out. Anticon has been described as "the hip-hip equivalent of post-rock".
[b][u]The Music:[/u][/b]
cLOUDDEAD had a very unique sound. Electronica and indie rock influence can be heard in their music, as well as psychedelic music. Many argue that cLOUDDEAD cannot be classified as hip-hop, and refuse to do so. However, Doseone requested that cLOUDDEAD should just be called hip-hip. It's very hard to describe the sound of cLOUDDEAD, and the best way to understand it is to listen to it yourself. I've provided some YouTube links to some of my favorite cLOUDDEAD songs below.

i love Why? and Hymie's Basement, but i could never get into cLOUDDEAD
I tend to like more obscure sounding music, so I got right into cLOUDDEAD.
