no thanks
I use Chrome and it passes the Acid3 test.
I like that feature.
I use Iron.
I might start using this, but I don't know why everyone likes Chrome so much. I love my Firefox addons.
Oh and technically neither pass the Acid3 test, That X in the top right isn't supposed to be there. Even if it has 100/100 it hasn't passed unless it looks exactly like the reference image.

I tried this but I prefer Chrome's new tab page and its taskbar icon
I might start using this, but I don't know why everyone likes Chrome so much. [editline]08:08PM[/editline] And isn't there an incognito mode that basically does what Iron does?
I'll stick with chromium
which version?
3.0.195.6
When did Iron get an adblocker? Last time I used it it didn't have it.
I don't know why everyone likes Chrome so much.
Because it's as fast as fuck.
Update, Iron does pass the test 100% after a simple fix "--enable-remote-fonts"
"To pass the test, a browser must use its default settings, the animation has to be smooth, the score has to end on 100/100, and the final page has to look exactly, pixel for pixel, like this reference rendering."

whats with all the fucking Billy Mays avatars though.
[editline]08:33PM[/editline] Where the fuck does Chrome keep the bookmarks so I can port them over?
Name sucks. Don't want it. Personally I would rather have Chrome. It's fast enough for me.
Name sucks. Don't want it.
Are you serious
Where the fuck does Chrome keep the bookmarks so I can port them over?
Vista : C:\Users\YourUsername\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default XP : C:\Documents and Settings\YourUsername\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Bookmarks. Either that, or you can also export your bookmarks by Ctrl+Shift+B and then Tools > Export Bookmarks Then load up Iron and import them.
Two flaws i can see instantly: You benchmarked IRON 3 against Chrome 2. Try benching against Chrome 3. You say it does not need command-line switches etc to fix things. However, later you say you need to add a command line switch "--enable-remote-fonts" to fix Acid 3. Other than that, looks ok.
Thought the title said "SpyWare Iron"
It seems most of the 'negative' features that Iron does not have are just information for google, which I don't really care about as I trust google to use the information wisely.
Ah, thankyou I've been looking for this for a while :-)
It seems most of the 'negative' features that Iron does not have are just information for google, which I don't really care about as I trust google to use the information wisely.
There's an article somewhere on facepunch about a boy getting arrested for posting about how a model looked ugly on a blog post. Google gave them the information about the boy.
All that privacy makes it sound like the users are kiddie porn addicts or something.
