Never Trust Storage Units - General

Life is not treating me well right now as I just lost everything to my trusted storage unit. I have been paying them every fucking month and yet they have been selling my shit over the past week behind my back. I never got any notice and today I went to them and all of my shit was cleaned out. I had many things in there like my great grandmothers rocking chair and my collection of Yu Gi Oh cards from when I was a lad and a huge collection of Hot Wheels. I also had pictures of my Mom and Dad and all of my Baby Pictures. I also lost my Mountain Bike, and Xbox 360 among countless other objects. The on site employee also a close friend of mine said that there was a mistake with the payment or some bullshit. I just don't know anymore Facepunch I lost so much.

If you've been paying them according to contract and they are illegally selling your stuff, them report them to the police.

Tell them that there better not have been a mistake.

If you can prove via check stubs or receipts that you made payments, I'd recommend reporting this to the police. You could be reimbursed for their mistake, and if you want, you could take them to trial for their negligence. You would for sure win, if your bank or creditor has proof of the payments.

These units were hired because you had no room at your home? Sue them hard and report it to the police. If you kept your end of the contract and they fucked around with theirs, then they are in big trouble if you act. Chin up captain, I get very frustrated losing simple things that can be bought again, but family items and photos can never be replaced so you've every right to feel pissed.

Plus today I had to see my counselor and drive to go help my Dad. But when I first saw what had been done I was in a fluster I was so angry.
