The man, identified only by his surname Kuo, started to feel unwell during the screening earlier this month in the northern city of Hsinchu and was taken to hospital. Kuo, who suffered from hypertension, was unconscious when he arrived at the Nan Men General Hospital and a scan showed that his brain was haemorrhaging, emergency room doctor Peng Chin-chih said. "It's likely that the over-excitement from watching the movie triggered his symptoms," he told AFP. Kuo died 11 days later from the brain haemorrhage, and the China Times newspaper said it was the first death linked to watching James Cameron's science-fiction epic "Avatar". Film blogging sites have reported complaints of headaches, dizziness, nausea and blurry eyesight from viewers of "Avatar" and other movies rich in 3D imagery.
"OMG THAT MACHINEGUN COMING OUT OF THE SCREEN--" *heartattack*
Late, sorry
late, sorry
fffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff :(
Besides being late, the fact that almost every media mention of avatar uses that same screenshot is starting to become annoying.
a scan showed that his brain was haemorrhaging
Well, Avatar CAN be a mind-blowing experience. :smug:
Get him to the tree of souls!
Well, Avatar CAN be a mind-blowing experience. :smug:
More like a heart-racing experience. Oh wait, this wasn't a heart attack? Dammit.
More like a heart-racing experience. :smug:
You might even say he died from brain hemorrhaging. :downs:
Get him to the tree of souls!
All Hail, Eywa!
Get him to the tree of souls!
His wounds were too great, there was not enough time.
I wonder if it was because of the sex scene.
He couldn't handle the awesome, I guess.
I wonder if it was because of the sex scene.
Did anyone else have this weird, cinema-wide, super-tense moment during the sex scene? I swear to god when that sex scene started I suddenly got the meaning of the phrase 'the tension was so thick you could cut it with a knife'. EVERY SINGLE PERSON in the cinema suddenly went EXCESSIVELY quiet (no breathing, not even a quick mumble here or there), and I think EVERYONE stopped moving. It was bloody bizarre.

I suppose it was a good death? Avatar is awesome!
The scene lasted for like 15sec
Yeah, but those 15 seconds were the most painfully long 15 seconds I've ever had to sit through in a cinema. The entire place was tenser than the muscles in a nun's vagina.

The sex scene wasn't even a sex scene really.
Their noses are shaped just like my penis.
I never really noticed but, they sparkle. Bunch of faggots.

Have you ever been to Europe? What do you really want to ask me? I'm afraid I can't give you an accurate answer right now. Tell me more about your.
I would hate to die watching that, of all movies.
