It was then enveloped by wood growing around it to the point that it was invisible when the tree was chopped down for firewood and sold to the supermarket where the unidentified 22-year-old woman bought it. The blast Sunday in the lakeside town of Gmunden shattered the stove's glass panel, but the sturdy wrought-iron stove prevented injuries.
Good thing no one got hurt, that must have been extremely scary. It's lucky that she bought that for her wrought-iron stove, instead of someone buying it for their open fireplace. Wow imagine the odds.
-snip, it's too late anyway. Isn't it?, readed article...looked at my post... and just said nope-
I wonder how old it was and who hide it and for what purpose :tinfoil:
it wasn't hidden, it landed on the tree during the fighting, didn't go off, and the wood grew and covered it partly.
I wonder how old it was and who hide it and for what purpose :tinfoil:
if you actually read the article you wouldn't have to wonder anymore
it wasn't hidden, it landed on the tree during the fighting, didn't go off, and the wood grew and covered it partly.
What if that was the grenade that would have killed Hitler?
People talk about feeling the impact of the wars today and news like this reminds you just in how many different ways it does
Good old gramps still trying to kick some ass from beyond the grave.
So.... they found a grenade in some firewood and their first thought is to throw it in the damn furnace? No wonder it exploded. (User was banned for this post ("Didn't read the article" - Craptasket))
an assassination attempt 70 years in the making. The terminators when back in time to ww2 and planted a grenade there so that it would kill the mother of the revolution against the machines before john connor could be born
This reminds me of a story I read online years ago. Same thing, but intentional. Basically a guy in Finland was pissed that someone kept stealing his firewood and he couldn't catch him, so he hollowed out a few logs and hid sticks of dynamite inside. His neighbor's sauna exploded a few days later. Happened in the 60s or 70s if I recall correctly Can't confirm if legit, but I found it hilarious nonetheless.

nice job lamestream media but i know the truth about ent uprising
I would be so unbelievably pissed if this happened to me but I'd still laugh my ass off. I'd probably be really mad if my house burned down because I was too busy laughing hysterically at this surprise explosion that turned my wood stove into a highly flammable puff of embers.
