So today I bought a Radeon HD6750 Graphics card to upgrade from my NVidia Quadro 470 (:v:), and I went to uninstall the drivers for the NVidia card, and I got the following Error: "There was a problem starting C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2\Installer.0\NVI2.DLL C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Installer2\Installer.0\NVI2.DLL is not a valid win32 Application" so I redownloaded the drivers, in an attempt to maybe get a clean install, and I got the following error: "%1 is not a valid win32 application" I just want to finish this upgrade, help? You have 64 bit windows and are trying to instal 32 bit drivers. Remove the old ones using drive sweeper.
I would also recommend formatting your computer when getting new hardware, its just a safety thing.
I would also recommend formatting your computer when getting new hardware, its just a safety thing.
I would agree to that when replacing components such as the processor or motherboard, but it really shouldnt be such a big problem with replacing the GPU. OP, I just recommend getting rid of the drivers with a driver sweeper. I also recommend getting a PC boost piece of software as these often come with registry cleaners and other various tools that help to solve problems like these. Hope this helps!

I was talking about things like PC Pitstop Optimize, AVG PC Tuneup 2011 etc. They're useful to have if you don't have a good technical understanding, of course going around getting each tool isn't hard, but some people don't know what they need so having an entire toolkit helps them.
