At what does does Diphenhydramine(Benadryl) stop causing you to be drowsy?
I think it's at about 100mg from what I've read here.

Well I took 225mg last night and was still getting drowsy.

Ah okay. I was just saying that as a guy in the DPH thread the other day mentioned at 100mg he could not sleep.

Your right, son.
The trip is very disorienting and uncomfortable for the 3 times I've tried it. There is no euphoria throughout the whole thing, the hallucinations can freak you out, and you feel delirious (switching between sane and insane).
People don't try it, it's like a less potent Datura trip.

Considering Datura sits in my "want to try, but way too potent" list, I may try Diphenhydramine in the near future.
I for one really enjoy DPH trips. It is extremely odd, disorienting, the hallucinations are vivid, terrifying, and lovely, and the only way to cure the cottonmouth caused by it is to smoke pot.

I want to try Datura sometime in my life. Not in the next 5 years, but sometime.
I'd definitely like to try a stronger dose of this, I took 350mg last time and I thought it was brilliant.
Is there a difference between dimenhydrinate and diphenhydramine?
A quick google says yes, although dimenhydrinate is also a deliriant and can be used in a similar way :smile:

Just because it can be used in the same way, it doesn't mean the effects are going to be desired.
