I wouldn't go to the extent of a stoner but I like to smoke a pipe or 2 once a day, and through this holidays I've had a lot of time to myself, parents have been up in Melbourne for a few weeks.
I've always enjoyed having a few cones until yesterday where I had a sudden realization of my self-esteem and confidence quite absent after a bit of a sesh.
When I stopped for a couple days it seemed my confidence and self-esteem weren't anywhere near as low as I felt while smoking.
Since it's my first experience of this mood dropping, I'm trying to understand where it's coming from, and if it IS the dope that's tripping me out.
Generally it has the opposite effect from what I understood.
Weed has helped teach me some extra self confidence and I couldn't give a shit what others think. I'm happier....Well kinda. More reassured than not.
Are your eyes green or brown or a mix of the two?

Ok I was actually asking op but your answer helps too. I recently did mushrooms and came up with a theory that your eyes express who you are in that the colors and texture of your eyes have a meaning, otherwise why wouldn't all our eyes be the same. Maybe it's just drug induced craziness but I still feel it's worth exploring.

Is it just a down feeling, or are you experiencing constant depressing thoughts, self consciousness, and/or realizations about your self/the world?
Weed has given me insight to many unsettling realizations about my life, and it's pretty rough. I'm rarely happy when I'm high, but it does feel good.
I've grown to appreciate it though, and I've learned alot.
I dont know if i'd go as far as loosing self esteem, but what it has done is open my mind. I'm alot more aware of whats going on around me when high
I've been legitimately depressed on weed a few times.
Mostly, though, it just helps me look at myself objectively.
Weed enforces the state of mind you are in.

I wouldn't say it really raises or lowers my self esteem.
If anything, smoking has seriously boosted my self-esteem.
Maybe you have low self esteem, and getting high helps that? Find something you can be proud of, it's sure to help. I personally play guitar in public, it's killer for my ego.

Why would your eye color have anything to do with your self esteem? I know 2 guys, both have blue eyes, one's a shut in with like barely any friends and does his homework, the other is like 420 all the time and gets all the girls

It doesnt really for me. Being high is sooo much a part of my life that it doesnt affect me negatively at all. Im high around my parents all the time now, it doesnt even cross my mind, the fear of getting caught. Before I really became a full time stoner I used to be uncomfortable around my parents when I was high a little, but now its almost my downfall sometimes, like the day I was fucked up on xanax, vicodin, and oxy, and they thought I was on something, didnt say anything to me till the next morning, but just the fact that they could even see anything that would make them think that says alot about how messed up I was. Apparently I slurred some words, which I've never done before, even while drunk, and I forgot some shit right after it was said. Whateva haaa I convinced them otherwise

Yeah, see that's a lot like myself with how much we smoke. I smoke around my parents, and while I know they'd flip if they found out, I can safely act straight while baked off my head (unless I'm real cookin).
